Why was a package left in a plastic bag and put in the ditch next to my mailbox? Normally you put it on my deck. The Del Rio postal person should be ashamed of themselves. I thought you hired better people than that. That was poor service.

USPS informed delivery shows we are to receive mail and it never comes. Why are the carriers not delivering as they should? Y’all should do better some of of mail is time sensitive!

I have been trying to call Newport Post Office all day with no answer. Pick phone up then hang up. Why have Post Office if they don't answer phone. I know there is people working there. This is not the first time this has happened

I received a package today that was supposed to require a signature. I wasn't home when the package was delivered. However, my wife was. The carrier didn't ring the doorbell or knock on the door. And the delivery notification I received on my phone indicated that I had signed for it at 9:30 am. Impossible! I was in Knoxville at the time. Might not be viewed as a big deal to some. But that package was worth approx. $2500.00. I strongly suggest in the future that the carrier knock on the door or ring the doorbell.

On packages that are worth a lot of money, you can have the sender request the method of delivery: signature, location of drop-off, etc. I strongly suggest adding a signature for security reasons.

This is ridiculous !!!!! Nothing but issues since day 1 !!!! Now they not picking up my mail and not answering phone!!!!!

I know its 3:26pm.. And the Post Office will close soon .. But dont tell me there isnt anyone available to answer the phone at the Newport office. Really..this happens often and lock g the doors before time to close... Really.. And they wonder why people are turning to UPS..
