I have scheduled a change of address from 2130 Rena Pl Rapid City, SD 57701 to 3616 Hemlock St Rapid City, SD 57701. However, my new home does not have a mail box. I'm assuming it's in a group of mailboxes down the street, but I don't have a key to get into it. I was told to contact the USPS about getting a key/mailbox. Please provide further clarification as I have packages scheduled to ship to my home. I can be reached by email or phone 605-280-2004.

It’s garbage day … my red flag was up. My can tipped over after being picked up and was partially in the way of the postal truck easily getting to my mail box. I watched my the postwoman get out of her truck and deliver a box to my next door neighbor … she got on her truck and slowed down near my house and then because of the garbage can just decided to skip my house entirely. If she worked for me, she would be fired on the spot. Laziness is rampant and it’s sad to witness it in person from a postal employee.

On Tuesday, June 8, when my husband stopped to pick up the mail, as he was driving away, he noticed something white in the ditch. Obviously, it was too large to fit into mailbox so the carrier tossed it into the ditch. I was at home all day and no attempt was made to get it to the house. I am deeply upset with this contract mail carrier. Is there any further means to addrytbis issue?

They gave my mail to a family member I have not received my packages I can't pick up my mail without an I.D. But yet just handing out mail like it's their.. I never trusted them ever since we were missing a birthday card with $25 cash I know not safe but my mom sent it for my daughter made it to this post never made it to us..

I have had multiple issues with my postal service, since I confronted my postal carrier in person it has been nothing but troubles since. I have two tracking numbers of packages stating “Delivered” yet I have not received these packages. This is only one of the many issues. Package 11533076 and 23050468 report numbers. Please help me in receiving my packages.

Forget about the USPS 🙄 Go either FedEx or UPS 👍 Purchase Amazon or EBay. You can track your orders with either one. And if you purchase Amazon, Amazon make the USPS to prioritize their customers. Amazon is on the top of its game, they'll keep you updated every step of the way about your items until the moment they are delivered. And if your items get lost Amazon always refund your money, specially when it's the carriers fault. Same thing with EBay. Don't rent mailboxes from the USPS either. UPS gives you far more and a better service and perks for your money!! 😉 I have been an online shopper for the last ten years. And I know who is improving and getting with the program and the technology, and who is going downhill. For those of you who purchase meds to be delivered to you. There is an App, that gives you amazing discounts for prescription meds. The name is BLINK HEALTH APP. If you don't drive neither have a car, install the Apps for Lyft and/or Uber. If you are not familiar with this type of services, Google it before you decide to use them, so you will know how they operate and don't shoot yourself on the foot. Either company will take you, door to door for a reasonable fee. But you must be ready when you request your ride 😉 because they are that good!! You'll see how much your ride will cost you before you'll request it, because they have different levels of cars. But the basic is more than enough for the day to day errands. You must have a Debit Card and/or a Credit Card in order to use their service. In this time and era most solutions are literally at your fingertips. And Google is your source of information for everything and anything. Take advantage of what you have in your hands 👋 😉🎉🎉🎉

I PUT 3 STAMPED POSTCARDS IN THE DROP BOX OUTSIDE THE STORE AT BOYD'S DRUG MART AT 909 E. PATRICK, RAPID CITY, SD, 57701 OVER A MONTH AGO. BILLS IN OTHER POST OFFICE BOXES HAVE ALREAYD BEEN PAID BUT THE 3 ITEMS I PUT IN HERE HAVE NEVER SHOWED UP. NO ONE IS CHECKING THIS DROP BOX AND IT NEEDS TO BE CHECKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live on Quartz Canyon Lane; today AGAIN there is a problem with the package lockers. Today package locker PL643 key does not work. Have had the problem more than once before, once a carrier left a key in my box where the entire lock part was broken off, and it was obvious that the key would not work. Two weeks ago, the carrier did not latch the lock for the door that covers ALL of the individual address boxes, so the mail for probably 15 HOUSES was accessible to anyone who happened to see the entire door slightly ajar. I would consider getting a box at the main post office in Rapid if it will make things better. During the school year I am in town 5 days a week, Neighbors out here constantly redeliver each others mail and have for the 5 years I have been here.

I am a disabled veteran who has medications delivered to my house and because there was maybe an inch of snow on the walkway the mailman WOULD NOT deliver it. This is crazy that I cant get my meds because he might get his shoes a little wet. I aso watched him while it was Snowing not deliver to my house. Am I supposed to pay attention to HIS schedule to make sure I am home to clear a path for him..... and now I have been waiting over 4 days and still no mail or even a letter as to WHY I AM NOT GETTING ANY MAIL... IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DELIVER MY MAIL AT LEAST TELL ME WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The USPS employee that delivers packages on country rd should be fired!!!!! They do a god awful job and dont seem to even care where peoples stuff ends up! I have recieved other people packages numerous times and They just delivered $160 worth of clothing to the crack heads next door and of course they arent about to give it back!!!!!!! Meanwhile the USPS cant/won't reimburse me but admits it went to the wrong house!!!!! What a crock of shit!

ON Saturday 1/4/2020 I tried to get the mailman's attention. I spoke loudly mr postman "please don't leave, he never responed, I spoke louder and said please don;t leave he said very crabby I heard you!! The keys for packages were mixed up and I wanted mine. He needs to get a different job if all he can be is rude and crabby.

New post master seems to be the problem, i tried to tell him of carriers not picking up mail, delivering mail to wrong street(consistently) not even same name or close street or person, mail carriers on phone non-stop dropping mail and packages, had to tell him wind was blowing mail from his hands down the road ( witnessed), the video on facebook of throwing boxes into mail truck only to watch them bounce and fall out from full height (the post master says he watched and didn't see a problem) really???

I waited in front of my house for my medication to be delivered by the mail lady. Didn’t arrive so I checked my mail only to find a ( Sorry we missed you) notice in my mail box at the end of the road. I was in my front yard all morning and there was no attempt to deliver anything at my house. I have two dogs who bark at anything that moves and they never barked once. I now have to go 3 days without my medication. You better hope I live long enough to drive all the way to town to pick it up from the post office. This must have been a sub because this has never happened before. JUST PURE LAZINESS ON THE PART OF THE CARRIER. Thanks a lot.

I live in old Robbinsdale and have for 17 years. No problems with postal service until the past year. On rainy days, my mail arrives sopping wet and has to dried out. Magazines are ruined. On hot days, my mail arrives wet from sweat. Magazines are ruined. Would appreciate getting back a delivery person who does not ruin my mail.

Worst service ever. Called 800 number. Took over six minutes to access a prompt to speak to an agent. Was told it would be a 12-18 minute wait. After total wait time of 43:56 minutes, I hung up and tried using a local number. Three numbers listed forwarded me to a voicemail where the user hadn’t subscribed. Tried using another city’s number which could not be dialed at this time. Went back to the 800 number and now I have a 50-minute wait. Still waiting for 50:23 minutes.

I am very tired of the condescending postal employee's at your post office. Seem's like every time I go there someone is rude,Please remember we tax payer's are paying your salary and also your pension's. It is also frustrating that you are always out of money and need to raise your prices. Last complaint, please at least have supplies filled on the weekend, working writing pen's and such.

I received an e-mail that my mail was returned to the bank with the wrong address?????? After talking with the bank the address was correct and the mailman had delivered it to the wrong address. I called the post office back and the guy consistently argued with me and blamed the bank!!!!!!! This isn't the first time my mail had been delivered to the wrong lot number!!!!! How hard is it to deliver mail correctly!!!!!! I will file a complaint against the man at the post office for his rudeness and the person delivering the mail! Enough already!

Wow, just "spoke" with the post master about a supposed undeliverable package that I received text based tracking updates on. After arguing that I got the texts from the sender and not the USPS he became combative and raised his voice yelling that my address was not on the package. He couldn't answer my question about the package and eventually admitted he didn't have the package but that he'd look for it. After about 10 seconds on hold he disconnected the call. Pathetic!

Hello, I live in Golden Acres at 1010 East St. Patrick Street. My mailman continuously drives on my lawn when he delivers my mail. I took pictures of his tire tracks, on my lawn, and showed them to a supervisor at the Rapid City Post office. I have also asked the driver several times not to drive on my lawn, but he continues to do so. I feel I have taken the steps necessary to stop him from doing this, but to no avail.

So if our comments not read by postal employees what is the point of leaving comments? I moved into a new built house a few months ago. I put up a temp mailbox (til warm enough to dig a hole) a few weeks ago. I've had my flag up since Fri, here it is Tues & my change of address card is still there. Who ever delivers my mail stops at the house catty corner down the street from my house. I'm taking it to work to mail...and calling the PO.

We get our mail very late. Today received mail at 510. Any way we can get better service? Ever since regular mailman retired this past summer we get mail at end of day. Can anyone look into this?

Seriously the worst! I ordered my package a week ago and I needed it by this weekend and the person who was delivering it didn't even come to my door step to drop it off just realized my package was to big for my mail box (I mean obviously) and just gave me a pink slip! The Post Office in Rapid City is the absolute worst! It's been 3 days now since I've tried to send out mail from my mail box located out front of my house. When I called to discuss the problem with the post office, they told me that my mother-n-law's car is probably parked to close to the mail box! They said i should move the car, or bring in the parcels! WTF?! Are you telling me that the mail carrier can't get their Lazy Arse out of their car and take two steps to pick up and drop off mail to my mail box! I'll take my mail somewhere to ship alright.... Not to USPS!!

Horrible, we are business and I order parts online. I don't know how they will get shipped and a lot of times they come most of the way from one shipper then dropped off to the Post Office. We do not get mail at our building but I was told if I put our street address on the first line and PO box on the 2nd line that it will for sure get to us if it gets switched over to USPS. Doesn't happen, I've had multiple packages sent back in the past, 3 this week, and they send them back after the first day trying to deliver so I have no chance of trying to pick them up. No wonder USPS is broke, I will start paying extra in shipping to gurantee that it won't go through USPS.
