Why has my postal box rental fee increased to $166 for 2023?

Several of my bills mailed in the post office boxes outside of this post office in Taylors was stolen. Whoever stole my mail from those boxes, washed my checks and also created other ones that they cashed through a phone app. Damage done was around $15,000. I DO NO recommend using this post office if they cannot protect your mail and bills.

What a truly frustrating experience! The post office damaged a package that was sent to me and the contents of the package were lost somewhere between Galveston and Taylors. I went to the post office near work and they told me I had to go to Taylors Post Office. Went all the way to Taylors and was told the sender would have to file a report. But I have the damaged packaging. So I have to send the damaged packaging through the postal system that damaged it so I can try to get my postage fees returned?! What a scam! If you don’t purchase insurance, they can destroy your package and there’s nothing you can do about it. Now I’m out an hour and a half of my time and over $7 in gas for the 21+ mile round trip to get to the worthless Taylors Post Office.

This is absolutely a disgrace to the federal government! Getting paid to do nothing but answer a phone and voice zero concern, show zero empathy for people who have had crimes of mail fraud committed against them! You have to give them your information so the postal inspector Mike Nicholson can even pretend to call. Which we are going on 5 months now and still nothing but a horrible service! I k is the federal postal inspector is a shitty one but that doesn’t mean everyone down the line has to act the same! Shape up or give the job to someone who cares!

I'm waiting for a package that was received by the Taylor's post office on 12/8/2020.the tracking shows the post office accepted it on 12/8. The post office has still not delivered the package to my Taylors address as of 12/23. Who do I need to talk to to find my package?

Dropped a package off yesterday at 4:55 (5 minutes before the final collection time) and it still doesn't show as in transit.

If not brought inside to service desk, always expect 24 hour delay on any postage put in a drop box.

The wait time to speak to an agent was nearly an hour... so I am posting this in hopes of some results. My mail is not always getting to me. In February, I did not get my cable bill, my PNG bill, nor my bank statement. I also did not get my bank statement back in the fall of 2018. I constantly get my neighbors mail... some of them on my street, some of them two streets over. I make a point to deliver their mail to them. This is wrong!! If we can't reply on our mail to get to our boxes, then how can we ever be sure we haven't missed something important... LIKE A BILL! You people have no qualms about raising the cost of a postage stamp. The mail truck never comes at the same time every day. They mail truck flies up and down my street at random. What is going on??? What happened to reliable mail delivery. For shame, USPS... and Taylors SC Post office.

Terrible post office. My bills are chronically late or they never arrive. My boss has stopped using the mail to send forms I need, because half the time I never received them. I have lived many places in this country and have never received service like this.

You should be paying all bills and services electronically. First reason is it will reduce paper consumption. Second reason is this reduces overall costs to the entity/Establishment/company that you are sending payment for services rendered. This reduces costs to everyone as a whole when everyone reduces expenses for any and everyone. Third reason is simply using electronic billing reduces the amount of trees being cut down for paper that inevitably ends up in a landfill. Fourth and final reason it helps reduce carbon footprint of humans on the planet which reduces pollution.

ongoing problems with wrong mail, no mail, someone else gets our mail, we get other peoples mail.....and when request for hold on mail takes days for it to go into effect, then issues with it getting restarted. no one seems to take into consideration that the postal system is a service and even doing it there way still its a mess. one package set in the office for 11 days before it was sent out!!! WTF its a continual problem, and its always blamed on the 'new sub'...lol

Absolutely the worst service by a government agency I have ever experienced. The Taylors postal personnel are totally non responsive to complaints. Can't get mail stopped for vacation, mail delivered to my box which belongs to someone else, have failed to receive expected mail. On and on and on! I have been to the PO to talk to someone three times and only once has anyone with any authority come out to hear my problems and I believe he was some sort of postal inspector because he said he would only be there a week. He listened sympathetically and with some concern for my problem. Things improved for a while and then back to the same old POOR service. The problem mail carrier had been replaced but before long he was back. Along with the other problems he refuses to avoid running through grass when there's no reason to. I have never been able to talk to the postmaster at Taylors. He or She is always out for some reason.

Postmaster general needs to come down there Taylors and clean house. We have lost mail, get neighbors mail, local postmaster is never there. While out of town for the holidays, mail was stopped until 2nd. Security cameras showing them delivering on 28th. Called post office and was told, it was a sub delivering mail. So there is no communication between sub drivers. So our mail would site for a week had the cameras not caught it! Not good enough, filing a complaint with head office, it's time Taylors had a house cleaning! Been a resident for 30 years. Never had so many problems. Shame on corporate for allowing this fiasco to continue.

I arrived in the front door at 11:30 AM Saturday and was told they were closed..(lights were on and one customer at front desk & 2 postal workers behind counter). I ask for them to take the one Priority medium box & let me pay but was told to use the machine whatever that was. Not accommodating at all...they forget the public pays their salaries - I see why the US Postal service is in such bad financial trouble. Taylors will not see me again - poorly run business.

I had a package delivered to a lady that lives in an apartment less than 1/2 mile from the post office . It was from ebay and I tracked it all the way to the parcel box . When the lady went to pick it up it was gone . I think the mail carrier stole it because he told her that Amazon pays for lost packages , that would be great but it was from ebay . I am out 70.00 dollars .

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST post office on earth. My magazines are constantly NOT delivered (aka - stolen at post office); never get ANY coupons or samples. There was a period of a YEAR where the carrier did not deliver the mail until 10:00 PM at NIGHT. I live in the country where there are coyotes so I had to walk to the mailbox with protection. I complained & the postmaster at the time would just offer any excuse for the man. We now have a new carrier & she is very good BUT if she is out or on vacation - our mail SUFFERS. Today is the 2nd day in a week that we have not received ANY MAIL. I have approx. 14 magazine subscriptions so this is highly unlikely. Someone really needs to investigate.
