While I always enjoy the friendliness of the clerks and carriers at the Lugoff office, I had an experience today that has stopped me in my tracks. I ordered live animals and tracked them from the start of their journey until I obtained notification they had been delivered (was texted at 4 pm). Checked mailbox at least seven times before retiring for the night. This morning, I find them on my back porch while taking out trash, sitting on my bannister…not in my mailbox nor at my front door. I am thankful the animals were discovered and made it alive as that door is not often used. May I suggest to those carriers in our community…please let us know of delivering items physically to the home with a simple notification in our box as we are not always expecting that. It is kind and thoughtful that you go out of your way to walk a package to the door…thank you with all my heart. But please let us know. 25 lives were at stake!
I have been trying to call the Lugoff Post office for 2 days and no one is answering the phone @ 438-9618. I got the Elgin office and he stated he did not know the phone # to the Lugoff office. Is this the correct #? My concern is, I updated my address online several months ago but mail is still going to the old address. I just want to verify with the Lugoff office if my address was updated or not. At this point I will have to miss time from work just to handle something a simple phone call would've taken care of.
Had package delivered today and instead of placing package on my porch, it was shoved into my mailbox crushing the box in places to make it fit. Would love to place pics but no options for that.
Not a happy camper!
