I have been putting up with horrible service for the last few years. Mail either never comes or if it does, it may come at 8pm. THEN, a package was left in my downspout instead of on the porch. I took the box, a picture and the delivery information to the post office to leave on the Postmasters desk, WITH my phone number- crickets!! I'm so sick of them not dealing with things. Postmaster - DEAL with your people or you need to be fired!

I have been getting mail meant for my neighbors for weeks now and I'm getting tired of delivering it. Some of it is obviously very important stuff. What is wrong with the delivery people these days...Can they not read? It's getting very irritating and has me wondering if I'm getting all my mail. Thank god for informed delivery so I can stay on top of things when it is obvious that our local post office cannot. You don't even pick up the phone anymore. Bad Bad Service lately.

So I keep ordering things and having them shipped to my address on the island. I receive emails stating that it's been delivered, but it's never there . The company's say that they shipped it and I have tracking, but it's never at my residence. Then the post office instead of notifying me the return it without my consent or notification. I have also tried calling the post on the island and no one ever answers. This is the 4th time this has happened. I'm getting irritated.

Johns Island mail was not picked up on our street, Royal Oak, on Tues 24 Jan 2023 (mail in box early morning) nor has the PO been by on on morning of 25th. Normal time for our street is 4-5PM. Trying to pay local small business who has complained they don't get our check sometimes for two weeks.

I have tried to call the Johns Island Post Office for two days and as others have experienced, nobody answers. I think that USPS management needs to look into what is going on there.

Not only have we had packages marked "undeliverable", we've had packages just NOT delivered at all! Are they taking the shi* home for themselves??? I have complained and called and complained again and absolutely nothing gets done. Monkeys could do a better job!

HORRIBLE service. they should all be fired, but then they wouldn’t be able to find a job anywhere else. who’d hire them??!!!! my pkg was “undeliverable” but the goon never got out of the car. the pony express would be more efficient.

Trying to get a passport renewal apt for my child who just turned 18. You can’t get through on the phone nor can you successfully register for an appt online. I’ve spent so much time trying it’s so frustrating. I guess I’ll have to drive there to make an appt and hope that works. I’ve tried calling 10-15 times. This is truly unacceptable.

I watched the mailman deliver the mail. He never left his white van. When I picked up the mail, there was a notice that he could not deliver an item because there was no authorized recipient available. My husband and I were both at home. Tried calling repeatedly. No one answers the phone. Totally frustrating!!!!

Rather than forward my package, they destroyed it!!! No one answers the phone and I called continuously! All day! Horrible customer service.

Usually no problems with JI USPS, but recently all mail containing cards (credit, ID, Drivers License) are being open before delivery. Always at the top left, guessing the Postal employees want to see if it’s worth stealing? To the best of my knowledge this is a Federal Crime- so, I’ll be submitting a request to investigate- Also, missing lots of mail since January.

Johns Island Post Office has to be the worst post office in the entire United States!!!!! I am considering contacting our local news station in order to get help since I am NOT able to get anyone to answer the phone at the Johns Island Post Office when dialing 843-559-0622 and after about 10 rings you are disconnected. About a year or so ago the local news station was able to help us and it seems it is necessary to go that route once again. Is there anyone else on Johns Island, besides me, having problems with their packages being lost? Right now I literally have two packages that are apparently lost and even the national USPS is of no help yet I can't reach the local Johns Island Post Office for help either.

Johns is P.O. Is the worst. They won’t answer the phone. Our mail gets delivered all hours of the day. My insurance payment got lost for 21 days. Some days we get mail then go for days with no mail. Mail gets delivered to wrong address. Local paper dated dec 4. Got delivered on Dec 14. Who can I call to complain? I’m not the only one having troubles. My daughter doesn’t get mail for days then gets a bunch. Read letters to editor in to days paper one more complaint. PO needs looked into by higher ups

They deserve every bit of criticism and the complaints they've been getting recently. Example: I recently ordered something which didn't arrive. I had the tracking number which showed it only went as far as the post office. I went there and asked about it and the guy behind the desk looked at the tracking number, and told me a carrier had delivered it as addressed, to a street number on "Daniel Flood Drive" in John's Isl. I hadn't even heard of "Daniel Flood Dr." and neither had the sender (the package was addressed to and supposed to be sent to the UPS store on Maybank). According to Google, Daniel Flood Drive doesn't exist!

The mail carrier for kiawah/seabrook islands really needs to watch how they drive. Driving back to my office on Betsy Kerrison, they were driving erratically.. whipping through cars, flying up on the ones doing the speed limit, etc. I was already doing 65 and they flew up on my bumper like I was standing still and whipped around me and another truck at this point doing 70 + miles an hour. I have a picture of the black Jeep and tag number if you’d like to see it. It’s bad enough other people drive so recklessly. Govt employees shouldn’t. It def could have caused a wreck

I have been trying to call in for over 30 minutes. The phone just rings and then finally disconnects. I just need to schedule for a package delivery so they don't send it back to the sender

John's Island post office needs to be checked into. My 70 yr old mother has had a P.O. Box for over 20 years. She had tried several times to pay her bill but with the hurricane coming the Post Office had been closed when she finally gets there while they are open she is charged a late fee of 22.dollars and informed when she asked if she would be reimbursed they said yes 50 dollars but not the late fee. Well she closed her box and only received $23. Liars or do they not know the job? Rude and wrong.

I have had problems with receiving mail and mail not arriving to it's destination since Feb 2019. As of April 1st there have been 2 checks, bank statement, phone bill not received. Since early March my tax return, and 2 bill payments have not arrived. Went to post office (as the messages never get to Wendy, the postmaster) with my concerns and was told she would look into it. No resolution. Next step is to contact local new media to see if they can help solve this problem.

Very poor service!!! Though there is no gate or fence even near my property a gift of food was not delivered” unable to get in gate”. Too lazy to stop and put on my porch. Sat at post office 8 days until I called after sender questioned about the FOOD gift they sent. I was advised the usps does not call or attempt to redeliver. Told I could come pick it up. I’m very sure usps was paid to deliver the box. Please respond!!

We recently moved to Johns Island and I must say this branch is sloppy, compared to what I am used to, after filling a change of address form, it takes days to receive the forwarded mail, causing major disruptions with bills, etc. I should have received many of these bills weeks ago... Mail delivery seems to be chaotic as well...

I had an issue with a package not being delivered. Initially, Drew (Andrew) was pleasant, but when he informed me that the gated community where I live left the gates open all day, I proceeded to tell him that was not the case. He disagreed with me although I am the one that lives in this area and I know when the gates are closed and opened. He said the carrier would not be able to get in because they do not have remote openers and the gate code box is on the left and the carrier is on the right of the car. It was so bad that he stated 5 times(and with a raised voice) that he was not going to argue with me. He was horrible! On the other hand, my situation was given to Lisa and she was very helpful and pleasant. Kudos to her! Get rid of Andrew - he is NOT an asset to your business.

And he is still trouble to this day. We are petitioning to have him removed from the front counter. We may also file a federal and state civil suit for, among other things, harassment.

There are no security lights lit at this Post Office! THIS IS A SECURITY PROBLEM. So, that's not all, the light that is supposed to be shining on the US Flag - is also out AND the cavernous potholes need to be repaired! Thank you for your attention to these matters.

Waited patiently for an important (small) package for days and since it snowed, it was delayed. I followed the tracking very closely because I needed the package by a certain date. They delivered my mail, I walked out to get it while the post(woman) was still next door. NO package inside! I get an email later saying the delivery was attempted but we weren't there. Bullsh!t! I waited!!!! You could fit 10 of the size packages it is in the mailbox. Why she lied, I'm not sure. I want to make a formal complaint. Anyone know how without going to the post office?

The PO has apparently mis-delivered yet another package stating that it was left at my door/front porch. This was a Christmas present intended for someone I care about. I'm getting pretty fed up with them. Post master lied to me the last time this happened and kept me hanging on long enough so I couldn't make a claim and ended up out $100.00 Dave Anderson seems to be a lying scoundrel. I think there should be an investigation. I would be oh so willing to cooperate.

Can some check this post office. They seem to not mail out stuff when you go to the office. I have been waiting for months for a delivery. Someone needs to see why..... Do they keep in back and don't send out of simply keep in boxes in some corner. We have mailed out invitations, cards, etc and they never get delivered.

Nicest folks working at the Johns Island Post Office. Person who delivers the mail to our home address is hard working and very much appreciated, as for instance she brings packages to our front door.
