I mailed a Birthday Card to my Granddaughter from Asheville, NC to Toledo, Ohio. I understand it was a mistake, but I enclosed $240.00 which she always saves and uses for school clothes, due to them being poor. The card was in an envelope clearly identifying it as a holiday card of some sort and was sent certified. I turned the envelope upside down so if it were torn by a sorting machine the contents just wouldn't fall out. A month passed I filed a report, started an investigation and the it suddenly appeared clearly ripped opened a message saying sorry, but no money. The way the card was put into it the card would have had to been taken out. I filed for the investigation and with the OG. I understand people steal and accidents happen, but it takes a certain kind of person to steal from a child. I can't believe that someone wasn't put under investigation or that cameras are not available to identify a possible person and prevent this from happening again. I no long send anything through the post office and although no one care and will untimely blame me for sending cash when I should be able to trust public employees. I am going to send letters to my representatives and everyone I can think of until someone actually does something. The card was a clear target gift card, certified, which now send bells off in my head. However, Postal Employees are well paid, and we should be able to trust that our mail is safe. I have send many important documents through the mail which I will never do again. To not care and steal shame on you. I pray the action I have completed and the letter I will write gets you (thief) caught, because if you did it to me you have done it before.

For the second year in a row I’ve left a bag of food for your second Saturday in May food drive and it wasn’t taken. I have porch delivery so the carrier would just about have to trip over it as it’s right under the box. A friend in the lower part of the county had the same thing happen at her house. I’ve always supported this cause but not any more.

We visited the W. Washington Main Post Office to renew our children’s passports. The process was quick, easy, and efficient. We arrived at our designated time and completed the entire application and photos in just under 30 minutes. Shawn and Amanda were awesome! Pleasant, personable, and helpful; they made the process enjoyable!

A substitute mailman did not deliver my mail yesterday. My regular mailman said the mail was also not in today’s mail. He has no idea what happened to the mail that was not delivered. This is not the first time this is happened here in Greenville and at my address. Mail is misdelivered and packages are misdelivered. They only show up again about half the time. When provided with a case number with Usps, the Greenville post office rarely ever responds as they are supposed to do. Today they claimed that they had called me, but there was no call. So once again, I have mail missing, including a check, and there is no help.

It would appear my mail man has taken a vendetta against me, multiple times now, I’ve left outgoing mail, with the flag up, that gets left in my box for, sometimes days at a time. It appears he intends to either get my bills (and payment stolen) or just doesn’t care to do his job. I have let this go at least 3 times previously, but now that I literally watched him drive past my house, yesterday, after I had put my outgoing mail, with the flag up, I can no longer tolerate it. I live in a rough neighborhood where mailboxes are routinely rummaged through, and after witnessing his complete disregard for his job, I now find it necessary to make an official complaint. I find it disgraceful that this has become such a routine occurrence I do not feel safe to use my mailbox to pay outgoing bills. Will you please tell me, what is the job of the USPS, if not to handle outgoing mail?

I sent to request my tax ID for the first time and the IRS sends the tax ID and my passport through the national mail and surely it arrived at my mail but I no longer lived there so possibly you have the package, how can I do so that I forward it to my new address? I don't have a tracking number or anything like that.

I have packages delivered to my house mailbox, the delivery person put boxes in the box. They stuff things in , boxes and loose are rolled, bent and the product inside is luckily just bent. There is one who delivered today 4/8 is the nicest, he brought my package to the house for me, I have a hard time walking to the box. I would like to request that the packages be put on my porch. Thank you, Linda

With all the complaints, (many justified, I'm sure), about the postal service and their employees, I feel compelled to compliment our postal carrier. Her name is Roshelle Gray and she has been our carrier for several years. She is friendly and courteous and professional. In all our years of dealing with the Post Office we have never had someone as pleasant and competent as Ms. Gray. We are grateful to be on her route and hope we always will be.

My package has been sitting in Greenville, SC for 5 freaking days now - I was supposed to receive it 3 days ago! About 6 months ago I had a package sit in the Abbeville, SC post office for 9 days. They said they never received it but the minute I filed a complaint, I got it the next day. I'm starting to really dislike the post office. Before that I had a package returned to the seller and the post office said there was no receptacle to deliver the package - we've had a mailbox in the same bleeping location for 22 years! I tried to file a complaint to find out who decided that but since the post office is a federal government agency, apparently they can do as they please.

My mail has been stuck at Greenville SC distributions center for 9 days now. I paid for express priority shipping on two packages that’s around 46 bucks! Why aren’t my packages moving. I’ve tried calling but no answer and no way to leave a voice mail. My soap business depends on the product I ordered. I’m trying to be patient but it’s hard when I can’t get ahold of anyone and I paid for express shipping. Tracking numbers are 9470111298370128834837 and 9470111298370331061129. Please help me

I ordered a package through the Offer Up and after it got picked up in Lyman it was delivered to the Greenville DC that same day (11/27). 10 days later it was sent to Duncan (12/7). 7 days later it arrived back at the Greenville DC. 7 days later I received a notice that it was being sent to the next facility. (12/14). Today (12/18) I received notice that it's "In Transit" to the next facility. 22 days later...I don't confidence in the Greenville DC and I'll be surprised if I ever get my package. Disgusting.

Today, I witnessed my female carrier drive up to my flag raised mailbox (Which indicates there’s mail to be picked up) Inserts mail on top of mailed to be picked up! This has happened several times in the past few months! Has The Post Office changed rules about pick up? Very Frustrated. 29611

Two weeks today I Sent a letter certified mail to Myrtle Beach. It’s over 3 Hour Drive for us and we were there before the letter. Last place it was was Greenville South Carolina and they’re not answering the phone! No one knows anything! No one seems to care! And I don’t know how much longer we can wait! This is ridiculous!

I am not normally a "review" type person but today I was so impressed with our local post office. I had ordered a tee shirt over 4 weeks ago from a online company. As it turned out the company shipped the package from China. Today I received a call from a female in our Main Post Office saying that the package only identified the address of my apartment complex but not my apartment number. My cell phone number was showing in the address lines. I am so impressed that this time of year, as busy as the are someone there took the time to call me and try to deliver the package rather then simply returning it. I don't know her name so this is best thank you I can send. Merry Christmas. You guys are the best!

Also my neighbor next door received my mail one of which was a package. My name and address was clearly marked. This is happening regularly. Don’t they read the address? My address is 205 Bradley Blvd, Greenville SC 29609 This needs to stop. The postman we had before was great but when they mov d him the ones who deliver are not very careful.

I came into the Greenville post office to mail a few items, including two posters that needed to be sent flat. Shawn took great care to help me fashion a flat mailer for the posters, and I could not have been more pleased. He was delightful, charming, and took extra time with me to make sure my items were packaged properly. I have never had such a wonderful experience with a post office worker. This gentleman is a gem, and I hope he gets any promotions that he may be up for. He is a wonderful person, and a true gentleman.

Why Pets Hate Them Watch your animals these people spray your pets with no heart and act justified. I watched while my dog is in a 6 foot fence with a pad lock on the gate as the mail lady put the mail in the box and instead of getting in her truck and going she took a step back pulled her spray from her pocket and sprayed my dog in the face as my husband and I went out the door she said "I'm doing my job" NO her job was completed and she knew the dog could not get to her she should have left property. If she felt a threat from him she did't have to walk over abd put the mail in the box. This was malicious and cruel, she knew she had been caught when we went out the door and she jumped in her truck and took off. I have called to make a complaint but no one answers the phone. WOW they wonder why animals don't like. This happened in Poe Mill Greenville SC Wednesday 3/15/17 Her truck # 218370.

The Washington branch of the USPS is a perfect example of why government service is an oxymoron. Not only could they not tell me where my package is even with a tracking number, they had no idea where it was heading-to me or back to the shipper. One of the two employees I talked to was very nice, but both were totally useless. Further, while I was "served" very quickly, there was a line at the passport window that reached the door while one of the two I talked was doing nothing. Cross-training anyone?
