The drive-up mailbox outside the main post office is so stuffed that I could barely slide my small envelope in (3:30PM). I could easily have pulled out other envelopes. Either no one collected mail at 12PM or the new narrow slot is preventing envelopes from being sent to the rear of the chute. Something needs to be done. The local telephone number does not get answered; the 800 # has a menu that could not handle this problem. (Try it yourself and see how far you get).

I just wanted to take a moment to mention and give great thanks can the postal workers that work at the Broad Street downtown Providence Post Office. I sell vintage and antique lamps can't tell you how nice and how much fun I enjoy dealing with the employees there. Professionalism is always maintained and followed and yet were able to all express our personalities and laugh about things Etc thank you very much 2 all of them. And I look forward to the ongoing relationship with that post office common and the US Postal Service

I just had the most abysmal service by a postal worker on the eastside of Providence. Saturday morning, March 27. I asked her her first name or if a manager was present. She’s working alone and thinks it’s ok to abuse customers because no one is there to supervise her. Disgruntled? Oh ya!

If you continue to screen calls and not respond to customers we will make our way down there to get our packages instead. This service is abominable. Will be switching to UPS or FedEx from now on.

Priority mail two day delivery. left colorado is now at Providence RI distribution center 12.16 2020. received numerous notifications that it left facility several times. today is 12.27 and I am notified . "processing exception local facility notified and are working on the problem..What seems to be the problem.

I have Christmas packages for my grandchildren that have been in the Providence postal center since 12:27am on 12/18 and they still have not been delivered to Barrington less than 10 miles away. They were mailed from Texas on 12/8 with a estimated delivery date of 12/14. Please help me get these gifts on their way. We certainly mailed them in sufficient time. Gifts to Nebraska mailed the same day were received 10 days ago.

It's total bullshit. I've also had a package that was sent through this facility and when I check it says in route but will not be delivered on time. I've spent hours calling their post office and no one will respond. If you can't do your job.....why even bother working?

My package is at the providence RI distribution center. It was delivered there on December 13,2020. Everyday you send me an email saying that I will receive it it’s just delayed. It kind of seems like it will be delivered in December 2000 and never. It’s a Christmas gift and I’d like to receive this Christmas not another Christmas. Thank you

I had an express 2-day package mailed to me on December 3rd that arrived at the Providence facility on December 6th. Tracking says it's been out for delivery since December 10th, however, it's the 16th now and I need it by the 17th. There's been no response from the inquiry that I and the sender submitted. I'm not sure what to do, but am wondering if I should go directly to the facility to pick it up. I've had no issues with my Amazon orders that have come the next day.

My parents mailed my kids Christmas gifts on November 30th through priority mail! They have been sitting at the distribution center since DECEMBER 2nd! I went there and the staff was rude and told me there is nothing they could do and assumed my package was somewhere in the back. The box has sat there for 14 DAYS!!!!!!!! Unacceptable.

I ordered Christmas cards on November 30, 2020. They were shipped on December 2, via USPS. As of today's date, December 14, I still do NOT have my cards and time is running out to mail on time! I have phoned the main office in Providence, RI, but no one ever answers the phone. I also filed a search, but to date have NOT received an answer. I have also contacted my local Westerly P.O. numerous times, and they do not have my shipment and said it was in Providence. This is totally unacceptable service and so unprofessional. My daughter ordered from the same company (she lives in NJ) and she received her order in one week. I am positively annoyed and disturbed by this lack of service on the part of P.O., Christmas delivery or not. Is anyone doing anything to correct this backlog of service?

I went to get gas at BJ's and my card was declined. When I got home I call my BJ's credit card to find out why it was declined. I was told that my November statement was sent back to BJ's and it stated that I don't live at my address anymore. I don't know why this happened because I still live at my address since 2010. It was sent from the Post Office (per BJ's customer service), hopefully this doesn't happen to my other credit card statements. Pls. email me with the reason this happened.

I was supposed to have a card delivered on Nov. 4 and i still have not received it. It is now Friday Nov. 6. Tracking says PROCESSED THROUGH USPS FACILITY PROVIDENCE, RI 02904 on Nov. 1. Tracking # 9400108205497496651574. Please help!!

On Saturday, I had a package that was to be delivered to me. It was supposed to be thru UPS and then they forwarded it to the local post office. I have confirmation that the package was delivered, that it was at my mailbox but it was not there. Now, my mail person has been late in the past but it said that my package was delivered at 7:36, I've never seen my mail carrier come around that late. Try to get in touch with the post office to find out information and that is the biggest hassle, you will be on hold all day long

I was home from 2pm on today. When I checked the tracking for my package around 7:10pm, it said that delivery was attempted AT 6:41pm and to look for a failure slip. NO DELIVERY WAS ATTEMPTED OR SLIP LEFT. I was here watching for it. A USPS van DROVE RIGHT BY MY HOUSE but DID NOT STOP and attempt a delivery. Since no slip was left, I have no idea how I'm supposed to get my package! NEXT TIME I WILL INSIST ON UPS SHIPPING.

Due to travel for work, I had my mail forwarded on May 1, 2020. I received a few magazines, and 1 important letter. I am now waitng on an additional piece of important mail that was mailed to me two weeks ago. TWO WEEKS. Not only is the mail not being forwarded (which I paid a small fee the USPS now requires), no one will answer the customer service lines at the Corliss location. And you wonder why the President wants to privitize the post office? Poor service, inconsistent policies, often horrid customer service is why. Get your act together. You make it difficult for me to support your existence when year after year you fail to modernize your systems, establish strong customer service policies, and work like you really want your jobs in these troubling times.

All the way up till this am my package was on its way. I stayed home. It was in Providence a day ago. I live in North Smithfield. It had a full 24 to get to here. My others are being delivered. They were together for a reason. Really? I get an email at 1;15

I went to this post office and it said you need a mask to come in so I had to walk home and back. I got there and someone who was beside me, not with me, walked in without a mask to get his mail and did not wear one inside. Why wasn't there anyone there to see this rule was followed? On top of a package that I received a text saying package a mailbox, The package was gone? I put in a complaint and was assured they would look into it but they never did and I was never notified!

This is not a review but a complaint! I was supposed to receive a package on January 22 and still didn’t get it! Something important and I keep calling them and they keep telling me to wait 3-5 days and it’s February 17!! Unbelievable It says it’s on providence distribution center but no one knows where is it! Express mail and still didn’t get it!

I keep calling with no help from freaking anyone. My Christmas presents for my family were delivered from TX 12/6/19 to Springfield MA around the 12th of December. As I was told from Angie a rep for yall that my package made it to providence RI station and I live in Warwick ri and yet I still have not recieved it and no f-ing answers wtf is going on..except the providence facility is very big to check out she's says left a few emails with no reply and basically to wait more...no way to call the facility so wtf kind of shit is that. I'm very unhappy and need more info wtf to do...where is it...wtf. WORST WAY TO SEND ANYTHING IS BY YOU FOLKS YOU DON'T CARE AT ALL....its the freaking 30th give me a break wtf

This is not a review but a complaint. I had a package land from out of the country to your facility in Providence RI on Tuesday the 24th. Now I see instead of delivering it to me in Cranston, it got sent to Nashua NH Distribution for delivery. How can this happen? I Have ew all tracking info and have been waiting 2 weeks for this package. mail man gave my wife a package that my wife got from my daughter and when she got the package from the mail man it was open and the mailman said to call the postoffice and we did but someone calls back and tells us to call752-6770 but the phone never rings thank you can some one help thanks

I moved to my house in July 2016 and I have been receiving mail for everyone and their grandmother. The mail, most of it not even in my zip codes, get delivered on a daily basis. We have been receiving mail for people that have NEVER even lived in my house. I tried to give a letter back to have the letter carrier bring it next door, but they actually threw it on the ground in front of my house. It had a note on it to be given to my neighbor. They make good money, but don't have the brain / common sense of a quahog. I put a letter to be sent back to sender in the mail yesterday, but it is in my mail box again this morning. My solution now is to just throw away any mail that I receive and doesn't belong to my house / family. Don't like the idea? Do your damn job correctly. When we changed our address in July 2016, I was still going to my previous address to get my mail, bags and bags of it every week. Really?

I asked twice,,,on mondays there is a fill in postal person,,,i live at 23 jacksonia dr..it is on a corner..i asked him twice not to walk across my yard,,he did again and scond time he tripped over the cords for my christmas lights,,,i had to go buy 4 more nets...please stop
