Interesting and I thought I was the only one not getting mail. The house I lived in 6 years was condemned, as a veteran , Affairs moved me to a temporary address, I put in a mail hold and was accepted. I went over to the P.O. and I was told, " you have to have an address to hold mail. You can get a P.O. Box." I replied." The State Driver's License Bureau states. YOU CANNOT HAVE A LICENSE WITH ONLY A P.O. BOX, IT MUST CONSIST OF THE ADDRESS YOURE LOCATED ST AND A P.O. BOX LISTED OM SAID LICENSE." I did my best to convey this multiple times, while the prior week I had to actually contact a supervisor to locate the mail hold facility. It's very interesting that I could receive mail from Nevada in 4 days while the mail coming from East York to York City took no less than on week. In the 6 years at that address prior, there was never one day that the mail shown on advanced mail notice that I saw the mail arrive within a week. Snail mail at it's worst.

The post office is terrible no one answers the phone no one helps you. Sent a money order out and the person never got it. Sent it priority and over 10 days later it is still missing and no one will give us the money back or help us.

My husband and I are disabled and due to certain meds and health conditions I can not always drive even to our cluster boxes. My husband does not drive. There are times when I can't pick up my mail for weeks at a time. I get a lot of boxes delivered and they don't bring them to the house. I am getting very nasty notes from the mail carrier about picking up my mail. Back in December I received a statement from my doctor stating the disability issue we have. The place we live ok'd home delivery. I took a copy to the PO and have had no answer since. I paid a few visits with copies just to wait for an hour to see a manager and then discover a manager was not present. I have left several voicemail messages but no return answer. My next step is to contact the ADA to see what can be done. I am so frustrated I constantly have anxiety episodes about this. Also when there is a good rain the mail gets soak and wet that you have to dry it out and hope the type doesn't run together. Yet once again the price of stamps are rising. Is there no way I can get help?

Yes Cynthia Hershey, I feel your same everyday pain as well; We live on a borderline between two local Zip's in a dead-Zip-Zone (former local P. O. done away with year's ago) on edge of two other (out of way) area's that handle mail for here (ours 17402 East York) same cluster box's problem, a 20-minuite total one way drive for us to 17402 P. O., same of which we have to have someone take, or get a ride to drop off anything to (cluster box has small "check in the mail" slot Only) mail out. And No Way to contact not so local 17402 P. O.

I mailed a package from Sussex Wi to C Works Solutions, PO Box 9998, York ,PA 17402 on Feb 26, 2021. The package is missing and I have a USPS request #25224672. They recommended that I call the York, PA post office saying if you recieved this package without it being scanned you would have the package. I have tried calling 5 different York post offices for 2 days and have not reached anyone or been able to leave a voice mail. Please contact [number removed]. I desperately need to find this package. I appreciate your help.

The two postal workers (Penny & I didnt catch the other's name) working at the White street location 9/26/2020 were very rude and unhelpful when trying to ship out multiple packages today. Not only did they not know how to send something out to an APO but were also very rude and unhelpful when I asked for guidance to make sure everything got sent out okay and weren't kicked back.

To Dacia Hickman I share your concern . That white mailman should get out of his truck and stick mail in the mail boxes with no numbers and no name on them . You might get lucky and get your mail . Of course you might get someone else's as they don't have numbers on theirs either . Don't worry , that will be his fault also.

I live at 75 woodland ave york pa, one of our mailmen will not deliver mail if vehicles are parked in front of mail box. we live on a public street and we work during the week, and on sat I am not going to move my car just for him, if he cant pull right up to the mailbox he will not deliver our mail....the other ladies will get out and put in mailbox. He even put 2 notes on my car....1 telling me not to block the mailbox and the 2nd to put our number on mail box......we rent and it is only mine and the neighbors mailbox which is on a post right on the street, my neighbor does not have his numbered & he did not get a note. The mailman is a middle aged white man, he is very nasty, I even went out one saturday to meet him at the box and he told he if he cant reach the mailbox from his truck we wont get our mail.....REALLY!!!!!!! These are the kind of people we have doing public service work delivering our bills and other documents........

Have filed 2 written complaints with the USPS, have called the Concord office many times and wrote an email to one of the managers and no response. Our mail carrier, Marie, is the worst! So many mistakes in the past and now has totally interfered with our delivery to the point of returning our mail to people who paid to have it delivered to us. This office is terrible when it comes to customer service.

In the last weeks our mail delivery has been very poor. no delivery 11/15,17,20,23/2018 the normal delivery time was 1;00-2:00 PM now it is later than 5:00PM if at all. Who do I talk to to get better service? What happened to " neither rainier sleet...."

Our mail carrier recently retired. Since then (aprox 3 months) our mail delivery is very spotty. Sometimes we get mail. Sometimes we don't. Sometimes it comes at 8 at night. We have received no mail delivery 3 days in the last week alone. I know it's not a fact that WE just didn't receive mail that day, because none of our neighbors are receiving it either. Something must be done about this very poor service.

I have lived here for 13years never had any problems ,except for mail being delivered to the wrong address.Just this month A letter was left saying mailbox is in bad condition repair or replace..I am not sure what mailbox but I have taken pictures and checked nothing is wrong with my mailbox.I called the 800## that was left and was on hold for 1hr 30mins and was cut off..This is unexceptable...The delivery person scribbled his name but everything else is legible..I will be filing a complaint...

Am finding it difficult to contact this post office. 3 weeks ago I mailed appropriate documentation required for delivery for disabled. By this time my mail receptacle is full since I get a lot of catalogs. I have heard nothing from PostMaster, presuming there is one at this location on Concord Rd. Today is 8-6-18 and it is a hazardous health day. There is no way I can get my mail. What happens to it now? I regret that I am elderly at 87 with health issues, but what is your answer?

Ive been having alot of issues with a letter my friend was trying to send to me. It was the right address, post office even verified it , and still kept getting sent back to her. She spent money trying to send it to me there should be a way she can be refunded. Not happy with usps.

I would like someone to provide me with the documentation that states the employees at the East York Post Office are not authorized to accept a credit card that is not signed. The credit card states "Ask for ID". The ID is signed. I can go to other Post Offices and never have a problem. I find the inconsistency ridiculous and unnecessary.

This is the second day in a row our mail has not been delivered. We live in Tall Oak Estates but receive our mail at a box in front of the house considering my husband is 86 and I am a5 years old. Yesterday the carrier put packages on our front porch and never left the mail in our box. Today the truck literally flew by our house and I had the paddle up for outgoing mail. Our regular carrier is not making the deliveries on these days so the sub is apparently letting our mail up at the community boxes. We haven't gotten any mail for 2 days and that is very unusual and I had mail out to go today so my birthday card will be late. We live at 3855 Craig Avenue, Dover, Pa.

I keep reading review after review about how no one answers the phone's if you want to get in touch with anyone at the post office the best way to do it is USPS.COM, Under Help - contact us- drop down arrow for options. The phone issue is probably never going to be resolved with the current Administrators. Reach them by computer. They have a certain amount of time to respond and there will be a record of complaints. If there are enough people higher than the current bosses will see them.

Have not received mail since Monday 3/13. Understand no deliver of mail Tues. 3/14. Went through the trouble to clean out a space at our mailbox. When I tried to call the post office to inquire got a recording that the voice mailbox was full. Very disappointed, our mailbox is empty and there is no way to contact the post office because their mailbox is full!. What irony! Poor customer service.

After reading all the reviews, I still tried to contact this office. Sadly, nothing has changed from the reviews already shown. I have been calling for literally 1 hour. It rings 3 times, goes to voicemail and get told you can't leave a message because the mailbox is full. My guess is they never responded to the issues below and they're still in their voice mail. There's not a lot to say that hasn't been said - sadly, we don't have a choice for mail & they know it. I even called the main number to try to get a resolution. Their menu is actually worse than calling this office. If you are looking for a package with a number it's an OK system. If you're looking for any other resolution, you might as well go back to calling until you lose your patience. Maybe it's time for someone to create a new postal service because this stinks. Next time they ask for an increase in stamp costs, email your local Representative to vote NO. Good luck, I am thankful I'm moving.

Dose anyone work here? All I want is to have a new mail box location approved. I waited inline at your office for 45 mins 6 mouths ago. Called the postmaster general 7 times with no return phone calls. I talked to the delivery driver 3 times about mail not be delivered to the right mailbox. I was told that the delivery driver has been trying to get this mail system out here fixed for years. And because one of the mailbox is and employee of this post office nothing ever get done. I'm a willing to pay to fix the mailbox delivery problem! Please have your postmaster general return calls.

This is a terrible office! I can never get anyone to answer the phone and most of the time you can't leave a message, when you can no one returns your call. I own 2 businesses and don't have time to continually run to the post office to pick up packages or track down someone to find out why I didn't get something. No one has any idea what is going on there. This is by far the worst post office. No wonder the post office is having such a hard time.

When they deliver packages, certain mail carriers place the package right against my doorstep (it's a step down) in front in the door. When I step out to leave the house I step right on the package because I can't see it. I not only crush the package but I twist my ankle & nearly fall. Surely they should realize the hazard and put it to the side. All other delivery services do. It's dangerous!!

I have had serious concerns with missing rental checks not being delivered to my address over the last year. In addition there have been failure of delivery with personal checks also. It is not an issue with my postal delivery person it is a problem of the check not getting on the truck. THIS has happened o er a dozen times and people have had to pay to have their checks cancelled at their local banks. Please address this conern and contact me back

You can't get anybody on the phone at the Concord Road location you get better service with UPS or FedEx I see why the US Postal Service is suffering no one wants to pay for people to get on the phone and actually help people

This is by far THE WORST post office there is. Literally every single time I have a package that is delivered by them I never receive it. They ALWAYS send it to the wrong address, which is ridiculous because I live in an apartment community so it's not like our mailbox is hard to find being as they're all together in a cluster. I am always having to go to the post office on my day off to ask about missing packages. I am repeatedly told that there is nothing they can do about it. Ummm, why not get someone who knows how to deliver mail? There's a start. Calling is no good because they either don't answer, or don't call back. I don't know what kind of joke they're playing, but it's getting old. It sucks that when you order online you can't choose who delivers it, and it's a shame that the staff at the post office don't care.

I live in a place that has a location for mailboxes in one location. Periodically mail is in the wrong boxes which is usually not a huge problem. But my pet has a heart condition and her medicine is delivered through you. According to my tracking it was delivered yesterday afternoon but the key left in our box to open the larger boxes for the packages was for the wrong box. So now I dont know if it is in one of the other boxes and the key is in someone elses box or what. This is just one of her medicines she takes and is important for her. I do not understand how this happened when when that box was locked the key should have been put right in my box.
