Someone is not paying attention when it really matters. I went to a post office in NC to mail an express package (next day delivery) to my daughter who lives in Slippery Rock, PA. The package contained medications for my daughter who has recently been infected with the COVID-19 virus, and the delivery was urgent. The Slippery Rock post office was supposed to deliver the package. The package was not only not delivered late (i.e. not by 3 p.m. the next day, a Friday) - delivery was not attempted until the morning of the second day (Saturday); but when no one came to the door, the carrier took the package back to the post office. I had explicitly waived signature requirements to avoid this issue since no one could sign (because of COVID-19). This unnecessarily delayed the package an additional two days, AND I had to spend over an hour on the website and phone trying to schedule a "redelivery" since it wasn't automatic. This was a completely unacceptable oversight considering it placed my daughter's health at risk and was entirely avoidable. If you are expecting a very important package from this post office, plan accordingly. They missed a very basic detail on delivery in our case.

I had a problem with a drug order my Doctor from Butler sent to me and is was a week later when I called the Slippery Rock USPS. They informed me that they were processing mail from New York And a couple of other states. Needless to say this drug I was waiting on the prescription for was not here in 7 days. I ran out of the drug completely. I could not go without the med. My Doctor only is open till noon on Friday's. You need to send out notification to all Slippery Rock residents that you are at least a week behind on sending out mail to Slippery Rock residents. IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS I WOULD HAVE MAID OTHER PLANS. Also, you better be processing our mail before you process any out of state or area mail. It's your job.

I visited slippery rock post office today, and have to fill out a complaint form. I am traveling with my daughter to canada and was told i need to fill out a form with my ex husband that states he permits me to take her with out him. I go in as directed and they tell me my daughter MUST HAVE a passport to travel to canada. She is 15. I explained to them minors DO NOT need a passport only a birth certificate when traveling by land. They then became upset with me telling me to JUST GO AND SEE hope you dont mind being turned away at the border. Well my research proves i am right on this topic and i believe the customer service at that post office needs to be aware of the LAWS before they shout out to customers.

Good afternoon, I am live in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, and have always had pleasant experiences at the post office. Unfortunately, today I did not. I am not a person that typically complains about customer service, but my experience was so terrible today that I felt the need to complain. I have never had a package delivered to me before, due to the fact that I do not order items online. I was told that at my apartment complex, we do not receive packages, and they are sent to the post office. When I walked into the post office, a nice lady told me that I needed a slip to confirm my package, and I told her I did not have one and I have been tracking my package and it said the package had already been delivered. She was confused and asked the man next to her for help. This man asked me what my building number was, I told him, and he told me I was incorrect and that was my apartment number. I know for a fact that my building number was correct so I said it again, and he laughed at me, and said I was wrong. I tried to be nice, and I told this man that my package said it was delivered a week ago, and I was confused whether it was supposed to deliver to the post office or not. He asked me to pull up the tracker on my phone, and I did. Once I pulled it up, he looked at me and said with attitude "I told you to look up the tracker". I sat there confused because the tracker was pulled up and he took my phone and pointed at something for me to click on and he said "yeah these packages do not come here". I asked him if he had an idea of where it might have been sent to and he did not even look at me, he just said "nope". I was pretty frustrated at this point, but still said "thank you" before leaving, and this man did not tell me to have a nice day, or anything, he just cut me off and called the next person in line. I have been working in customer service for over 8 years and I know that this is not how you treat a customer, and if I were to ever act this way, I would automatically be fired. I am very disappointed with the service I received today, and would appreciate an email back or a phone call. My phone number is 814-897-3791. Thank you, Jade Comstock
