On Monday, 12/5/22, I arrived at the Pequea post office at 9:15 AM when it opened, waiting to send out a few packages and buy stamps. I ended up waiting around 30 minutes for the clerk to arrive and officially open the store at 9:45 AM. There were others waiting as well. And when I spoke to her, she said that she had to help another post office before coming here. While she was kind and reassuring, if the business states that it is supposed to open at 9:15 AM, then that's when it should open so that clients do not have to wait around unaware of when they will be able to get their business dealt with. Either that, or openings should be adjusted or more help at the other office should be prioritized. Short-staffing is understandable in this climate, but again, this is unacceptable.
