After reading the comments below, it's apparent that the complaints are still valid about the Monroeville PO. Ordered 2 items from Amazon and having trouble getting them delivered. WHY??? person receiving them has lived at that address for over 40 yrs. Is the mail person keeping Amazon pkgs for their at home business?? It happened where I live ;so it's no joke!! Embarrassed to tell anyone I retired from USPS. I had to select a star rating--really??? Minus stars should be available.

So I had a package scheduled for delivery and when it didn't show the tracking claimed they attempted to deliver but no one was home and they left a slip, neither was the case. So the next day when it still didn't show I called and was abruptly hung up on by the manager because I was irritated by his delivery driver lying to me. All he said prior to hanging up on me was his drivers were still out.

I schedule pickups frequently. Our past mailmen have been wonderful. We recently had a change- up. Our new mailman seems to disregard scheduled pickups even with the confirmation page we print and leave in box. For First Class packages that we leave in the mailbox, he just jambs in our other mail and does not take the package. So, we are paying higher fees and getting worse service! No one answers the phone when I call our local branch. And don't even try toll free number!

I am very new to this area and this is not the service I am used to from the PO. I work from home and on 2 occasions I have watched a postal employee not even attempt to deliver a package I was expecting. This is unacceptable. Calling the post office was worse. Just excuses that the deliverers were still out.

The post office in Monroeville PA is a real pain. Unfriendly. I have been waiting for a letter to arrive over a week ago. According to my emails letting me know what is to arrive by USPS, I was to receive a letter on September 10, 2019, I still have not received it. When is the Post Office General going to look in to this Post Office.

I think my usual mailman is on vacation this week and whoever the person filling in didn't pick up a package I had scheduled to be picked up. I waited for him to make his rounds and instead of him coming back around the road he went down a closed street(hillside ave) that doesn't want traffic going down it or my daughters package would have got picked up,

I would like to submit a report against the carrier that delivers our mail! For quite some time, we have been getting either very wrinkled, sometimes torn, even wet mail (because the carrier refuses to close the mail box)!! Today was the last straw when I had to pull the mail out as it was literally shoved into the mailbox like a crinkled ball of trash!!! My address is 120 Old Suffolk Drive

Monroeville USPS refused to post mark an item I brought to the counter. The clerk stated they no longer accept mail across the counter after being accused of losing mail. This is not a USPS rule. I verified with other area post offices & they do accept and post mark parcels at the counter. Monroeville has lost mail in the drop box in the past, (the reason I wanted to visualize it being postmarked), so will they stop accepting through the box too?

I’ve been trying to contact this office for 2 weeks now. I have not been successful. Every time I try they either don’t answer the phone, or the line is busy. I sent out a letter 3 weeks ago that has not been delivered to its address.

In preparation for a vacation I completed an online Hold Mail application and received a Hold Mail confirmation number. It shows how long I will be away and I will pickup mail from the post office upon return. I returned home early and found my mailbox was stuffed with mail and I have been getting mail everyday since my return. This is not the first this has happen. I called the post office serveral times and after numerous rings my call goes to a busy signal. I have received other customer’s mail. Mail has been mailed to me on September 20, 2018 however as October 2, 2018, I have not receive it. THE Post Master General should investigate why the problems occur and implement long term solutions this month.

2 weeks worth of mail was delivered on 9/12/18, including my Condo water/sewage bill. I confirmed with the Condo Association that the bill was mailed on 8/23/18. Payment was due on 8/31/18. I received the bill on 9/12/18 - twenty (20) days after it was mailed from a location less than 25 miles from my condo. The Monroeville Post Office phone number is a joke. They NEVER ANSWER. I will now contact the MAIN OFFICE in Washington, DC by using the Internet.

Today 9/10 I arrived at The Monroeville Post Office at 8:30. The main window was still closed. I waited until 8:45 and left, driving to the Murrysville office. The window was still closed. What’s going on at the Monroeville office? When I left there were approximately 12 people in line. On your door you have a sign about priority being number one. Do us a favor, take the sign down because is is clearly not true.

Monroeville,PA PO is a poor excuse for a post office.Twice in recent months I've mailed things only to have them arrive at their destinations weeks later, rather than only days like they should have. More recently,I was out of town for a while. I put my mail on hold with a specific date for it to be delivered and regular service to resume. I arrived home prior to that date only to find a box of mail on my porch and even more stuffed in my mail box! Did they even read my instructions? Apparently not. I called the PO to complain and got somebody that said he would give the message to the postmaster and have him call me. No call came. I called back after several days and spoke to someone that claimed HE was the postmaster. He said he would look into it and call me back. I'm still waiting. Bad service, lousy delivery and nobody that cares when you complain. Just pathetic.

Please know USPS has not taken government subsidies since 1982. Therefore, your tax dollars were not taken.
