I went to the Glenolden post office TWO Saturday's in a row only to find a handwritten sign saying they're closed early. I don't even know what the actual reason was. Today, 8/22/2022, I went during my lunch break which barely gives me any time, and once again, Glenolden was closed for their lunch hour. It's ridiculous, for one, to close the post office the way they're closing it, and two, hire more people. I'm going to have to get to the post office as soon as they open in order to mail out my stuff. It's very frustrating.
I am greatly disjointed with your branch. My Mom is 93 with Alzheimers so I had to have her mail forwarded to my house. So as Mom doesn't` notice I have sent packages to her address. Sometimes I use her address mainly my own. I am now told that if I send a package with my name on it I was told they would leave it at Moms. Very POOR customer service. I had a package that shows the post office delivered Mar 16, 2020 at 4:18 PM. The tracking # 92748999964215543404187868. I did not receive this package. Could you check to see if the package is still at the post office. Thank You.
Different mailman on the 900 block of Maple ave. In Glenolden constantly leaves lid open after placing the mail in box. Mail is being destroyed by the rain. My regular mailman always closes the lid. Pure laziness. You have one job. Do it correctly.
I live at 238 Rively Ave., Glenolden. Our mail is never delivered before 4:30 or later each day. With our prior mailman, we got delivery much earlier in the day. It seems we are at the end of the route.
Is it possible for the route to be switched on a monthly basis so that sometimes we are the beginning of the route and then the next time we are at the end.
It seems our carrier is on his phone constantly and this may be the reason for the late deliveries.
A reply would be very much appreciated.
