This post office is under a federal investigation for stealing packages.

We have lived here since November 15 of 2019 and still continue to get mail from the previous owner of the house. We have talked to the manager inside the post office, did no good. We have written numerous letters and notes and left them for the mail person. One time, the mail person even left a note back for us that said “Ugg.. so sorry.” We thought that was encouraging and that it might finally stop, but it has continued and keeps continuing. It is both annoying and almost to the point of harassment, because they just keep doing it. All they have to do is look at the name. We even have a note inside the door of the mailbox that says these people, and list their names, do not live here anymore. Why is it my duty all the sudden for four years to make sure this mail gets returned to the post office and delivered properly? Can I just start throwing it out? Or would that be tampering with federal property? I say this post office needs to do something about this, it is just plain old stupid. And they NEVER answer the phone!!

Bought a house, been 4 months, not even moved in. Get time sensitive mail delivered to this house, and have not gotten mail in TWO WEEKS because the post office lady left a note inside of my mailbox on her first delivery demanding us to move the mailbox back on the opposite side of a main road. Previous owner had her legal established mailbox in her driveway. Without notice we stopped receiving mail all together since we haven't moved our mailbox. Like I said we aren't moved in and in the middle of renovations, we don't have the resources to move our box across of the street which we don't even want to do because it is frankly dangerous and NO ONE should have their mailbox across the street (I see old folks shuffling and running across this street daily to avoid cars) and our mailbox is in its established spot. I should not be missing mail after ignoring a handwritten note.

I have lived in many states/zip codes and never have I found a post office like this one. They NEVER answer the phone......so why have one. The staff is very friendly when I have to go inside, but when I have a concern.....carrier throwing a package....I want to speak to someone. Unprofessional.

Having had multiple 'Vacation Hold' mix-ups over the years, I have been trying for 2 days (Saturday/Monday) to confirm that the Gettysburg Post Office did receive my 'Vacation Hold' request. The yellow form. The phone rings and rings. NO answer. On occasion, I get a busy signal. What is the point of listing a phone number if no one answers the phone?

For the second time my mailbox was damaged by the mail carrier and will need replaced. How will the USPS pay for the cost this time and why does the carrier not report the damage.

Today, Sep 9, 2018, a package from Amazon was delivered to our house. It was left out in the rain along the driveway and garage and was soaked through, damaging the inside package which was to be a wedding gift. As it was raining all night and the entire day, there was no way for the carrier to think it could possibly be safe from the rain.

I just bought a property at 1410 Knoxlyn-Orrtanna Rd, Gettysburg, PA, 17325. When trying to set up mail forwarding, the Post Office site did not recognize the address. What do I have to do to register this address? Thanx

I notice that there is not a delivery of the mail every day, I can't figure out what days that deliveries actually take place.
