The service in this branch is terrible. Early this month, on 12/7, I sent a package to Michigan, via priority mail. It cost $37.00. Today, Dec. 18, it has still not arrived. I inquired about it at the branch, and spoke to the clerk at the window. This woman was incredibly rude and nasty, from the moment I asked about the status. Her message was that the post office had no idea when it would arrive. I am certain that, had this interaction occurred in a setting other than a government business, this individual would be fired. This sort of treatment of customers is outrageous and unacceptable. I might also mention that, strewn all over the floor behind her, were numerous packages of all sorts. It was a total mess. Finally, this is the second time this year I had a similar problem with the Alburtis branch. In that case, a package sent to Dallas, TX arrived weeks late. Some sort of action needs to be taken to straighten out the Alburtis branch. The woman whose job it is to serve customers is entirely unsuited for this job.
