We have been waiting for a package to arrive, finally checked tracking and found our package had been returned to sender. WE HAVE BEEN HOME so it could have been delivered. We have had so many substitute mail carriers we sometimes do not get our mail until after 5:30pm. We cannot get his package resent, as it was a very special gift. We also had a mail carrier drop a $300 package and laughingly said, "ooops." COME ON, really. Unhappy right now. Is there anything that can be done? Guess not.

Heres how my experience went just a short moment ago. Me out walking my dog, a lady walks up, the post lady drives up, the lady walking "wow, they deliver on a sunday?" Mail lady "only if its amazon" mail lady drops package off I say thank you mail lady then proceeds to yell at me "you know I wouldn't have to do this if you didn't choose Sunday recieving, right?" She then scoffs and walks back to her car. I'm standing there baffled at what just happened. I didn't choose Sunday recieving??? Very bad experience, post office needs to work on their customer service.

Service at the desk is great, but the rest is unpredictable. I've had three packages returned to the sender without any notification to me, in just the last year. They also have at least one mail carrier who is afraid of dogs and will kick them if he can, then complain to the police even though he has provoked the dog! And the postmaster will hold notices at the desk without informing the customer that they have a notice, and then act on the lack of response to the notice -- a lack he caused!

It's sad. My package was sent back to the sender. I was not given any notification stating that my package was at the post office or within the area. I could have picked it up on Nov.17. I've only got a notice when it went back to the sender Dec.01. Is this odd? Or is this a regular thing?
