we are having a terrible problem with our mail delivery at 705 NW 10th street which is Desert Gardens in Prineville Oregon 97754. 1. I am a care giver there and constantly getting other units mail in our box. 2. also delivery is not consistent, some days early some days not til late afternoon. 3. the normal girl seems do do fine, its when she has a relief man driver. 4. also we have been expecting mail from neighborhood impact, and still have not got it. they said it was mailed 2 weeks ago. it probably got put into someone elses box and they tossed it. PLEASE HAVE THE CARRIERS NOT RUSH AND DO THEIR JOBS AS THEY GET PAID FOR IT.

We have been receiving other people's mail for weeks now. Some do not even live on our road. We even received a key in our mail box for the locked boxes for packages. I have a large stack of mail AND a package that belongs to other people. I called the Post office and spoke with a man whom was actually pretty rude. I asked that he have the mail carrier come to our home to pick up this stack of mail as we cannot put it in the outgoing mail box so that it gets to the people it belongs to. Some of this mail looks to be very important for the people they are meant for! That was 2 days ago and still nothing! We still have the stack of mail and package! We are expecting packages and want them to come to us and not others! This is not the mail carrier we have had for the past 3 years, she was fabulous! We understand when you take over a new route, but come on , the names and addresses on this mail are not even close ! Get it together Prineville Postal Service!!!

I literally just had the WORST experience over the phone with a Prineville Post Office employee. I'm still trying to process it, it was by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Long story short... we painted our house last week so we took our mailbox off for a couple days. Apparently they put our mail on hold because of it. No written notice, NOTHING. My husband went down there on a Monday to see if they were holding our mail. They said no. We still didn't get any mail all week. He went down again on Friday and surprise, picked up ALL of our mail and packages that they had waiting for us to pick up (with no notice). They resumed our mail service. We talked to our mail lady that Saturday. She had been on vacation that week and said it was ridiculous that they had done that without giving us notice. I had been expecting another package that Friday, it didn't come, it is now Wednesday and we still haven't received it. I called down there FIVE times, finally someone answered the fifth time and he was SO rude. I asked if our package was being held, he said "Why would we put it on hold? Did you put it on hold?" I explained. He finally checked and said it was there. I mentioned we didn't get any kind of notice that our mail was on hold. He said "What kind of notice would you like? How are we supposed to deliver mail with no mailbox?" I said a written notice, and I didn't realize you needed a mailbox to set a package on the doorstep. He said "Well this package isn't very big." He literally fought me on everything. It was unbelievable. I wish I would've gotten his name but I was so mad I eventually hung up on him.

USPS is the biggest joke ever! No wonder you are struggling to stay in business; I need to find out about a certain type of mailing for my business the info is not on line, the local office number is either a busy signal or it rings forever and the automated 800 number that puts you on hold for 15 minutes (at which point I hung up). So an hour of my day has passed and I still have know idea how to get these letter sent, it is snowing outside but don't worry I will go ahead and drive to the post office to ask the question I should've been able to ask over the phone!
