I am contacting you, the person in charge of the post office, about most of my mail not being delivered to my home, 4807 SE 28th Ave, last month and currently this month. The only things I got in the mail last month was one bill from NW Natural when there should be two, the one from NW Natural that I did receive was remailed in a normal white envelope. And one weekly ad. In the years prior to the current year there was no issue with my mail coming in. So I am assuming that whoever is currently sending mail to my house has taken it upon themself to decide that since the mail box didn't have have the unit or apartment letters of B and C on it, to not deliver the mail for those units. Even though; all the mail is lettered to me or my son in some form or another. So I am requesting that this problem be solved.

We live in Roseburg, Oregon and mailed back a very heavy item at USPS to Ebay for refund. The package left here on the 13th of Jan. and arrived in PORTLAND DISTRIBUTION CENTER ANNEX ON THE 16th of Jan. 2022. WE HAVE NOT HEARD FROM TRACKING SINCE THEN. THE PACKAGE WAS DESTINED FOR TEXAS 77548. IT IS A $1000.00 IN VALUE. HARD TO LOOSE. PLEASE FIND IT. WE HAVE A CASE GOING ON IT.

To Ryan Chasteen, Supervisor, or whomever is the Postal Supervisor, I am writing to praise my letter carrier of a few years. His name is Casey and he services Goose Hollow, at my address 846 SW Vista Ave, 97205. He is always professional, efficient, cheerful, and he often wears red sneakers. Casey's integrity and concern for what he calls the "sanctity" of the mail is outstanding. He often knocks on our doors with overflow mail. Casey shows human concern for us too, hinting it's a great day to be outside when it's sunny (my husband and I are older), we feel like he sort of watches out for us. As older people, we've lived long and experienced mail carriers in 3 states, in small and big cities. Casey is the finest example of a USPS mail carrier.

Add'l information on mail problem on 11/13/2021 1:30 pm delivery of E-bay item. Address used: 13820 NE Airport Way, Suite # K376240. This is not my address and needs to be investigated., Other items being sent there on using my ID off of E-bay. This address seems questionable and may be receiving items they did not purchase. Please check this out and respond. Thank you. One of the sellers sent me a picture of the address sent them by E-bay/Paypal for shipment which shows the information used that was NOT CORRECT to reach me, the buyer who paid for the item.

I have received four "past due" notices from merchants during this past two weeks. These merchants were supposedly paid in Jan. of this year as I mailed them checks,. Apparently you didn't deliver them! I'm only one customer but do NOT plan on mailing future bills via the postal service I'll pay bills personally via debit card. Paul Revere could have done a better job! Luckily over due charges were disregarded when I contacted merchants and explained the problem.. PS I live in Woodburn OR.

United States Postal Service Reece L. Steelman, Postmaster Central Post Office 204 SW 5th Ave Portland, OR 97240 December 18, 2020 Dear Postmaster, During COVID, I obtained stamps so I could mail packages and avoid going into the post office because I am a vulnerable adult. During this time, some packages are going through and others are not. In April and September packages have been returned claiming "undeliverable" because of the address; the addresses were correct. I remailed the first one in a new package and it reached the recipient. Now at the height of the virus, in early December, I have received packages that are being returned because I used stamps on a small 4.3oz package containing a small purse and also on a 14.2oz media rate package containing a book. The USPS label indicates the packages are returned due to a “heightened security concern”/the mail is over 1/2" thick/weighs more than 10oz. I have left similar packages like these at my door for pickup before and during COVID without any problems. There can be no security risk for an obvious book. Both packages could have been opened, inspected and resealed. It appears that the USPS no longer cares to do their job. More importantly, USPS does not care about vulnerable adults during COVID. It appears to be a waste of time to attempt to send out condolence books or holiday packages. What really irks is that there is no local or national phone number that provides customer service. I have been frustrated in my attempts today to reach customer service. Two listed USPS numbers are out of service [Portland 503-200-2400 and Central 503-294-2399], while others fail to answer and disconnect [National HQ 1-800-275-8777, Portland Airport 503-335-7918]. I have always loved the USPS and had no problems with mail until now. In 2020, I did not have to be urged to buy stamps and support the post office because I already had plenty of stamps and have always chosen to use the USPS more than anyone I know. Whoever is trying to destroy the USPS needs to stop. I do not mind if it takes longer to deliver packages during COVID as long as they get delivered. The returned packages demonstrate an indifference to the health risks during COVID. Your behavior is abusive to those of us who have always stood by and supported you. I NEED YOU TO: 1. Please allow workers to work from home and at least answer questions from customers. 2. Stop refusing to deliver correctly addressed mail. 3. Stop refusing to deliver media mail with stamps on it during COVID when it is more dangerous for us to come into the post office and creates no real security risk to USPS employees. 4. Place a red banner on your online "calculate postage" page indicating that packages containing stamps will be returned to sender unless brought in person to the USPS. 5. Let me know what measures you intend to take to improve service. 6. RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL and let me know if you intend to destroy the USPS and to explain why USPS would suddenly, during COVID, take such draconian measures which create waste, inefficiency and require in-person visits during a pandemic. At https://www.uspsinfo.com/post-office-complaints/ you claim that “The US Postal Service believes in the philosophy that the customer is always right. Though USPS does not let down its customers ever, and always ensures to provide an impeccable and efficient service to its customers . . .” Our tax dollars support your employment and I would like to see a little more responsiveness and customer care than is currently evident. Sincerely, Bernadette Janet

Actually, they don't check your box for outgoing mail if they aren't delivering something. I'm sure you can understand why opening every mailbox to look inside if they aren't putting something in would be a huge waste of time?

What is the 1st class in Japan of postal service? The question is when I ordered a letter of the first class at overseas (110 Yen), despite they showed a "Designated" stamp to quest of the payment 410 Yen as more. I got so afraid much because they are used to be Par Avion, pour au systeme de "Recommnade" qu' en Francais, que il y de plus le voir sans se traduire. Is this dismissed for sake of the "Traduction d'en Francais" whereas USPS has to inland US track?

I thought I had a problem with a Christmas delivery and was given the number for the Office of Consumers Affairs and dealt with a David and then Donna. Don’t know their last names but they were both so very helpful to me. I don’t know if this kudos will get to them but with all the complaints just wanted to let you know just how wonderful each of them was! I sure appreciated their helpfulness and follow-thru with my problem. Which turned out to be our fault. Thank you so much! Mary Ann Adams

Is general delivery pick up service still available? I plan to send a package from Europe to Portland, Ore, General Delivery, as I don't have a specific address yet. Should I be able to get a specific address at a later date, would the P. O. deliver the packages to the hom address? Extra charge for that? Thank you.

I'm am EXTREMELY pissed that my package through the post office was marked undeliverable when I got my damn mail just fine. Now my package is being returned and I'm out $70 and now have to reorder and reship. This is unacceptable. If the mail man can deliver my mail he walk a couple steps to my door and leave my stuff! It just shows how lazy the post office has gotten. And I know for a fact he never came to my door because there was no slip.
