What is the delay? Since a new carrier has been delivering to Brookdale, 19th Ave, Forest Grove, OR..Mail has been late...HOWEVER, more important, a parcel that was scheduled to be delivered to me by USPS on Tuesday, November 24th has NOT YET been delivered!PLEASE follow up on this. thank you
Today the mail person left a huge stack of mail on top of the community mailbox. They were for several different people and even some IRS mail. I tried to contact the Forest Grove Postal Service but they were closed and forwarded me to a 1-800 number which was a nightmare! This was bad as anyone could've come and taken the mail and id theft etc could have happened. The mail person should be reprimanded harshly!
I had complained that since Mike retired, I have not been receiving as much mail as I have in the past. I was told that someone would look into this situation; but there has been no improvement; in fact, the opposite has occurred! It seems that now I am limited to two pieces of mail each day. Please look into this more diligently.
Temp. Mail carrier maced a dog in his own yard and began yelling profanity at an elder gentleman and his very young granddaughter in a wheelchair. We hope she doesn't deliver mail in our neighborhood anymore.
I received a package on friday, I looked at the label it wasn't actually mine. I looked for the address and gave it to the owner(Not my job). We'll today some guy came to my house and gave me a package that was brought today to his house, and was actually mine. This shouldn't be happening.
We get our neighbors' mail all the time, too. I don't work for the Post Office; it's not my job to deliver the mail to my neighbors. I have my own work to do. The FGPO should do its own work.
There's a lot of theft of mail that goes through the Forest Grove Oregon post office. Specifically cards and gift cards both outgoing and incoming. This was a big topic on a FG Facebook page and many people had items go missing all mailed from here.
Just thought I'd send you a copy of the review I posted on Yelp and Google....
Is it possible to give 0 stars?? I've lived here about a year and have never had such trouble with a post office! We get our neighbors mail ALL THE TIME! The worst was today, when a delivery number I had said our WEDDING PHOTOS were delivered this morning. I've been home all day: no package. I called them and they insisted that the GPS said it was delivered to our front porch and someone must have stollen it (who would steal wedding photos in an orange shutterfly box??). He said that since their GPS said it was delivered, there was nothing they could do and they wouldn't take financial responsibility for it. After I argued with him for a good 10 minutes or more, he got my information and basically hung up on me. He called back 5 minutes later and said the driver remembered it.... and guess what? He delivered it two doors down from us. We barely got a sheepish "sorry" from the guy. So frustrated. At least we got out package.... but I'd never trust this post office.
I had the same issue with a "stolen package", but I can't think of who would want to steal 3 carbonization packets for 99cents each. I never once got an appology when I called, nor did I get any person in the post office take responsibility since their "GPS says it was delivered". I too was home all day waiting for the package to no avail. This is the worst postal service I've had ever... and I've lived in every state now..
