Over the last 4 months I come out to get my mail & the front of the mailbox is left wide open… not a few times it EVERY SINGLE FLIPPING DAY!!! WTH?!!! People that walk by on the side walk can help themselves to my mail. What kind of a deranged idiot does this?!

My review is that I have ordered things on line to be delivered to my door but have not received them. The first time, I received an online notice that my driveway or porch was blocked. There was no blockage. I also received two other packages that same day. The last delivery was to be 8-18-2023. This time I was told they couldn't found my address or it was unknown. I checked my address & it was correct. I am getting tried of not getting my orders. UPS & FedX can get it right. Why can't USPO get it done.

What a pleasant surprise! I was unable to open the locker containing a package that was too large for my mailbox (in a community or cluster mailbox). I was surprised to find that I could call the Albany Post Office directly and talk to a real person. The sweet lady who answered the phone took my information and assured me she would have the carrier check out the matter. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Just to follow up on my review from yesterday, the package showed up on my front porch around 4:00 p.m. yesterday. Now that's what I call service!

It kind of sucks they closed a post office where i had my PO box and could get any packages picked up on Saturdays. And not to mention great customer service. Now I have to go down town to this post office and then they aren't even open on Saturdays. This just sucks. Let's just keep taking away services but continue to Jake up their rates

Postman drops packages on the ground. Twice two of our packages have gotten broken. When I called the post office, they asked me if I had it on tape of him dropping it. I told them i heard it in the house hitto g the ground. They told me if I don't have proof that as far as they are concerned it did not happen.

I am sick and tired of receiving those nastygrams that state that I should be parking 20 feet from my mailbox. Really? You have plenty of room to pull up to my box, I saw you do it many times. I can't change the parking situation on my street.

Apparently our mail carrier retired, and it's a damn shame. Now I'm getting nastygrams every day telling me that I can't park within 20 ft of the mailbox (which means I can't park my car in front of my own house). Portland ordinance is 10 ft, which is what I give. Letter carrier is threatening not to deliver the mail. THIS is how we are treated? You have a monopoly over delivering the mail, but that doesn't mean you should treat your customers like crap. I want our old carrier back, he delivered to us for 2.5 years without any problems!!

Mail is arriving very late in the day some days. Package not delivered in a timely manner is worrisome. Please improve.

Wow! What a change! Not sure what has happened at the local post office, but it's been painted, the bulk mail area is organized, and someone answered the phone today when I called! The person was extremely professional, and listened to my question and will be getting back to me this afternoon. The front line staff are still pleasant to deal with and it's so nice to see the improvements.

I wonder if anyone within the post office system has ever tried to use the post office services as the rest of us do? If they were, they would see how bad the service really is. I will try to use anyone else and avoid the USPS like the plague.

You absolutely positively suck. You leave an "attempted delivery" slip on my door. "We're sorry we missed you..." my patootie. You didn't bother to knock or ring the bell. Someone was home and you were too lazy to wait. Because you suck. I am unable to reach you by phone after at least 100 rings because you are too lazy to pick up the phone. In short, you suck.

With the quality of service that the USPS provides, it’s no wonder they’ll be gone soon, and good riddance. I could have walked the letter over to the next county by now.

Why are you saying my package on September 21, 2017 couldn't be delivered? When the mail man never came to my house! I was home all day doors wide open, along with being outside putting up fall decoration. Don't send my package back! If you do I will file charges of theft! My husband will be down on September 22, 2017 to get my package. Thank you Melissia Droppa

WORSE SERVICE EVER. 4 times they have not delivered packages after the tracking said they were delivered. The most recent incident, April 19th 2017...BOSTON ST. SE in Albany... 4 packages from 3 different companies...all gone... tracking stated they were delivered IN MY MAILBOX (A neighborhood drop box because clearly they are too lazy to bring your packages to the door) BUT I never received them. Can't call...phone is always busy. No one to contact no one to anyone to complain to about the HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF MERCHANDISE BECAUSE your ridiculously lazy and incompetent mail-person could not deliver... BUT EVER WORSE THEY LIED ABOUT IT. I have never been subjected to this sort of complete irresponsibly in my life. Whoever runs the Boston St. SE Albany, OR mail route should be fired.

I've had a "to be mailed" letter in our box for 5 days with the red flag up and our carrier still has not picked it up! What does it take?

i turned in a forward at the Albany Office on Dec 11th. I went for 4 weeks without getting any mail. Every time I called the number was busy. I finally got through and the clerk said I refile electronically which I did on January 13th. The person that I talked to said the he would be immediately notified and he would bundle up any mail there was and send them on to me that same day, Today Feb 6th or 24 days later I received a bundle of 34 letters, bills and Christmas cards dated back to Dec 14th. This bad service happens every time I do a forward.

2 times in one month I have found the back of the community post box completely wide open because the mail carrier failed to make sure it was secured and locked. This is ridiculous. I don't feel bad now that you are going to be losing your jobs. You can't do them right as it is.
