Wow, you people (postmasters) and mail carriers have no compassion for people's pets. Can't even apologize for a mistake. As you get older, good luck with that. Perhaps the Post Office could at least show some respect by making a donation for the vet care. However, I doubt that the Postmaster cares at all about making things right. Since there were witnesses, probably a police report should be filed. Nevertheless, the situation is posted all over the social media. You're famous

We get a lot of Amazon packages and even have a package box at the front of our garage. Despite that, our mailman routinely leaves packages at the end of the drive right by the road while reporting to Amazon the packages were "left in the mailbox". I've had several packages ruined due to rain. Unacceptable!
