Hi. I live approximately 20miles(round trip)&30minute drive(again round trip because one cannot drive 55-60mph on these roads)from the Proctor Post Office. That is also the Post Office I pay (a very high price for 4 hrs per day only given for such minimal service by you normally compared to most). Every renewal period you have no problem giving me notices making me aware if I fail to pay I will not get my mail (even locked away from me to obtain for free at my home like most get EVERYDAY AT YOUR EXPENSE OF DELIVERY & A DRIVER TO DO SO) YET you cannot provide notice in that same fashion (let alone consideration or fact I HAVE PAID TO GET MY MAIL THERE EVEN DURING THIS TIME)? Ido not know where Welling Post Office is BUT DO know it could not be only the 6 miles this site is portraying it to be from here. YOU CHARGED AND I PAID (yes my choice but nevertheless contract of agreement by BOTH) TO GET MY MAIL IN A P.O.BOX LOCATED AT PROCTOR, OK. NEVER HAVE I AGREED TO PAY FOR THAT AT WELLING, OK NOR WAS I ASKED IF I WAS WILLING TO AGREE TO THAT. If I did receive my mail AS A FREE SERVICE FROM YOU I WOULD HAVE NO CHOICE TO WHAT/HOW THAT SERVICE IS RECEIVED BUT NOT THE CASE FOR MYSELF OR OTHER BOX PAYING RESIDENTS OF PROCTOR, OK. Regardless, NONE OF US DESERVE to just have to learn of this by driving FOR NO REASON AT OUR EXPENSE SND TIME TO FIND IT CLOSED AND NOT KNOW WHERE OUR MAIL IS EVEN AT OR HOW LONG BEFORE IT WILL BE BACK WHERE WE HAVE PAID FOR IT TO BE TOTALLY BY SURPRISE! I realize building need maintainance, repairs, and sometimes remodeling BUT OTHER ways could have happened of consideration to have prepared our community for this interruption of our services; again, some of us have paid for! There is a COMMUNITY BUILDING in almost exact location of our Post Office building that I'm sure could have been temporarily utilized for some sort of pick-up availability or one of the local churches possibly (?) but to expect a drive to/back the Welling location is JUST NOT AN AGREEMENT I HAVE EVER BEEN PRESENTED WITH NOR AGREED TO! AGAIN I am aware and grateful this is not the LOCATION FOR (FREE) MAIL SERVICES FOR PROCTOR RESIDENTS ALL THE TIME (as could have to be) BUT AGAIN I WOULD NOT AGREE TO PAY FOR THAT SERVICE AT THAT LICATION EITHER! I am not hard to get along with and definately don't look for reasons for complaining or leaving this type of remark but would have appreciated ANY SORT OF PRE-NOTICE other than just unknowingly "having to wander upon it"! Thank you(?)

Notice was left in my mailbox Saturday, 7 -18-20 that my package did not fit wand was taken to the Post Office at 100 Hwy 62, Proctor OK. I go there and the building is CLOSED UNDER CONSTRUCTION. I need my package!!!!! Your carrier will not drive down my dirt road 2 miles to my actual house where I am at all the time. Proctor Post office is only open a couple hours a day IF they decide to come in at all and now the building is locked up with Caution Tape with a note that says Closed Under Construction. How am I supposed to get my package now??? I need those parts!!!!!!
