I visited this office with an important issue concerning my mail delivery. I was treated very rudely and very unprofessionally. This was very upsetting to me as a senior citizen and 30 year resident of Granville.

This location is VILE!!!!! So absolutely disgusting and degrading to their customers. I’ve asked multiple times to be contacted about our poor mail delivery service and I’ve never received a call back. Even another local usps store tried to call the Granville office Friday (because the 800 number told me the package was at the Pataskala location) and no one answered. So i go in today to have them locate a package that was “attempted delivery” (it wasn’t…i have video proof no one ever tried to come to my door to get a signature) and was met with a child-minded little boy pretending to be a man who was rude to me the MINUTE I walked up to the counter, yet called me rude. You get what you give there little buddy! I was perfectly fine and content before that. He then yelled at me and talked down to me because the paper that was left in my mailbox by MY MAIL LADY wasn’t filled out correctly! I asked to talk to the postmaster and was told to “leave your name and number and he MIGHT call you back.” Might? WOW…so i demanded to speak to him in person because no one ever calls back. To my surprise, Mike the postmaster was AT A DESK listening to the entire exchange! Instead of reprimanding the employee and trying to diffuse the situation, he resorts to name calling and then kicking me out…kicking me out of the post office because I was upset that I was being disrespected. I’ve read multiple places that this location is awful towards women and well…their actions didn’t prove those accusations wrong. So this WOMAN hopes you LITTLE BOYS have the days you deserve. Maybe another job that’s not customer oriented would suit you better! And for those reading this thinking the problem…I’ve been in that location multiple times and I’ve always been met with demeaning attitudes. It’s pretty bad that other locations know how bad the Granville location is.

Went for passport. Employee was uninformed, unpleasant, unprofessional and unaccommodating. Discouraging that in a small town that is what my tax dollars get. Completely feeds stereotype of a government worker. If you don't want to work there are plenty of other jobs available.

Had a very similar experience this morning. Going to try again on Friday and hope for a better result. Employee definitely tried to discourage the process beginning with trying to say she didn’t know we had an appointment which I made a week in advance. She assumed I did not have everything before I even showed her the documents and made us reschedule for copies of three birth certificates which took 30 seconds to get at the cvs across the street. My husband put off a flight for work and now has to take more time to be back on Friday. Very unpleasant and definitely not wanting to be helpful.
