My mail app said I was to get 4 pieces of mail on August 1, 2023 but I got none of them. What happened that I didn’t get them?

I mailed a VERY IMPORTANT letter at the Findlay, Ohio Post Office on Friday, April 14, 2023. It was addressed to my sister in McComb OH. She DID NOT RECEIVE IT UNTIL WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19, 2023! That's FIVE DAYS LATER! What the heck took so long? I could have WALKED it do her in less time than that!

I have the email that provides what will be delivered today, and the packages are not delivered on the predicted date or ever. Some packages are unexpectedly rerouted all over. Very disappointing and disturbing.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. I get the emails that show when mail is to be delivered. With out question, the mail shows up the day I see it in the email - unless it's mis-directed by the USPS. Today for instance. I recognize my normal carrier is on holiday, but I see three USPS trucks at different times of the day in my neighborhood. Just after 4:00p (my mail usually arrives around noon), I see the driver, who was parked outside of my house -I mean right outside, directly in front of my hose - drive away. I check for the mail I know is to be here, two packages and three pieces on mail and nothing. I immediately call the Findlay branch (number is in my cell phone because I'm a frequent caller) and talk to Jen who tells me she will talk to the driver and call me back tonight. An hour and 10 minutes later (5:30p) I called back and talked to Barb who tells me Jen has left. That can't be, she was to call me back. Barb puts me on hold to see if maybe Jen left a message and unbelievably, Jen picks up the phone. I try to tell her that I tracked both packages and they showed delivered but after telling me that she spoke to the driver and there was nothing left in the truck and then when I tried to interrupt to tell her that the packages are marked delivered, she put me on hold (some sort of passive aggressive tactic no doubt). I call the number on my other phone and Jen answers...so she tells me she was simply transferring me to the other supervisor, Barb. Um, ok. Sure. I give Barb the tracking numbers of the packages and she tells me that they were delivered at the corner of the house. I looked, no packages. She then tells me she will send a different driver out to look. Apparently he did come because a half hour later I got a call back from Barb (by the way, NO ONE will give me their last names) to tell me the driver found them at the neighbors on their porch. The driver just dumped them on my porch and ran away so he wouldn't have to apologize apparently. I asked about the three pieces of mail - "well, just because it shows up in the email...." which is nonsense because every other day, I mean EVERY other day, if it's in the email, it's in the box. So now I wait for the Post Master (Jill) to call tomorrow. I'm sure I'll here that it was the carrier's second day again which means absolutely nothing. I wonder if that excuse would work if she went in for surgery and the doctor amputated a toe instead of replacing the knee. Well, it was his second day...deal with it. Look, it's not a tough job. You match an address on the envelope with the number on the house. If it matches, you put it in the box. Didn't we learn that concept in kindergarten? Remember marking the picture that didn't match? So much for accountability.

Absolutely terrible service. Received an email saying my package was out for delivery. Seen the mail person drive by at 1200pm and deliver three doors down, but not mine. Your email stated it would be here by 515pm. I needed this package today. Thats why I paid more. Is anyone going to reimburse me for this???? Very upset about all of this.

I know the post office is closed today. But I'm just stubborn enough to hope against hope that my question can be answered. SURPRISE!!! Someone IS working today and DID answer the phone. She was even gracious enough to go look for a package I'm missing so I can be sure it's there before I travel to the post office tomorrow to pick it up. She was so kind and gracious! She confirmed my package is there....right where it belongs.....Thanks so much for your prompt, professional service...even when you're closed!

are your postal carriers not delivering mail daily anymore? I did not get delivery on Tuesday 1/21 nor Thursday 1/23. I had mail out to post and bills that needed to be sent!

Today, Jan. 2, 2020 was the second time that medications mailed to me by the VA were left outside, today on the sidewalk and once before in the wet grass in the rain. These are medications that my life depends on, and just because some Findlay idiot is too stupid, and too lazy to take 6 extra steps my life is affected. Whoever reads this needs, and this is VERY IMPORTANT, to get a message to the moron who has done this twice, MUST know that god help him or her if there is a third time, because I can give that person a hard rock, absolute guarantee, signed in blood if necessary, that there will be NO chance of a fourth time

I am so very angry right now. My package was not delivered today as promised. I specifically called this morning to ask and the lady on the phone said it was to be delivered today with no signatures required. I had rearranged my day to make sure this was picked up as it was Christmas gifts and now I will not have my gifts. Thank you USPS for ruining my Christmas!!!!!

Absolutely horrible department. I receive daily emails through informed delivery. When a piece of mail failed to show up I called and talked with Duane (supervisor). Explained that item missing was a sizeable check. Seemed indifferent but said he would contact carrier and call back. I returned a call to office later that afternoon to find that Duane left at 2:30. Jen had no interest in helping, told me to call Duane in the morning and hung up on me (several times - apparently I was yelling). Called back Saturday AM and talked with Duane. He advises that he left word with afternoon supervisor (I assume he meant Jen) to follow up. I continue to wait. Post Master (Jill) seems to be out of the office frequently so I have to wait until Monday to talk with her and likely not get any real action. This is just so typical of a union environment, and then add Federal Government to the mix and you get in action at it's best. My carrier (Jeff) mis-directs mail frequently so likely my mail will show up sometime having traveled through the system multiple times.

How can a goverment office not have any handicapped accessible entrances? Have to get someone and pay them to go to the P O for me. The city is working on my street and we had no mail delivery for 2 weeks. I called and they said I have to come up there and pick it up. Had someone go up, they stood in line for 20 minutes because there was only one person working the counter and then they said they had sent it out on the route that day. Findlay, Oh. 45840

We've sent cards from Newfounland Canada, Ontario Canada, Port Huron Michigan. None arrived at Findlay Ohio Address. Learned not to put gift cards in but cards alone don't arrive because someone still thinks there is something to steal. Six different times and no arrival.
