I STILL have not received a letter from my sister mailed to me from Mt Airy MD the second week in December !
I cannot reach a Yorktown postal employee by phone to make an inquiry !

Lost Mail: I mailed two cards on Dec. 14, 2020, one to NC and one to Cornwall, NY, from YT Post Office. Both had gifts in them and both as of this writing were not delivered. Can't get you on the phone. So my inquiry is............if the Post Office is incapable of handling Christmas mail, they sure as hell couldn't handle the mail-in votes, and we all know how that worked out!

This item should have been delivered yesterday, Sunday, Dec. 13th. However, my usual delivery man had a well deserved day off. The person that should have delivered the package said they had attempted to deliver it and was told by me to hold it at the post office. First of all, they Never attempted to deliver the package yesterday and I Did Not tell them to hold it at the post office - instead they put it on the desk of my usual delivery man to be delivered by him today.
Because of this lie (what else can it be called) several people in the Post Office, Amazon, and myself were unconvenienced.
At a time when the Post Office is under tremendous pressure employees like that only add to the load. Perhaps it’s time to investigate scams like this.
We put a stop mail on November 13 2020 and asked to forward it to Florida to no avail. We reached out to all customer service representatives in the postal service
and they gave us so far three investigation numbers. Our mail man has continued to deliver mail even though there is no room in the mailbox he now putting it in the newspaper holder. On Wednesday November 25 someone’s at the Yorktown Heights office answered the phone and said she would talk to the mailman and have him pick up and redirect the mail to my present location. On November 27 the mailman squeezed more mail in the box. On November 27 sent another email to postal customer service with all numbers given to us over the past 2 weeks. There response was they are sorry for the inconvenience but they could not help I would have to contact the Yorktown office myself. My patience is running out.
I live at the senior development the Mews on rt 6 at Baldwin Place and my mail is being delivered to other apartments in the complex this causing a delay of many of my bills thus causing late fees this needs to be addressed or I will need to have this facility pay for all my fees
Sent mail to a box there l (Return receipt requested) in November. They received it 12-1-18. 12-6-18 it was sent to some address in Spring Valley, NY. Yktwn said they still had it and were returning it to me. 1-8-19 Supervisor called me & said it was on it's way back to me. 1-22-19 still don't have it. INCOMPPETENT AND RUDE.
on many occasions I have gone to this post office. You have nothing but a crew of unfriendly customer service reps. Never smile and can be rude. Never greet you, never say good bye. NOTHING!! In the past few weeks I have gone to the post office to mail a package early in the morning. The drop box has been down for weeks down with a note stating so. Not even to tell you where to put packages to be mailed. So you can't even leave them! Today I asked a couple of postman where to put pkg, received a "I don't know" Imagine. Just ridiculous.
