Worst post office in Yonkers, just had an employee "Tiffany" yell and curse at me told me to " get the f**k out". Employee then proceeded to threaten me and then stated "your mother is a F**ken bi**h". I hope this employee gets fired for her unprofessional behavior. Filled a complaint with USPS. Avoid this post office if possible.
I don't agree with the negative reviews I've read about this branch. Whenever I've visited in recent months the clerks are knowledgeable and courteous. There were times a few years ago when this was not always the case. Of course, during holiday season it would be helpful if more clerks were available to assist customers.
The absolute worst customer service. They play games with the phone, let it ring 20 times, pick it up and then hang up. When they do answer, rude does not describe their cadence. Once was trying to track a package, took my name and phone number and no one followed up after repeated attempts. The problem, there are no consequences for their actions (or lack thereof). Beyond contemptable.
This post office is terrible!! I called various times and either I get no answer or someone picks up and hangs up with out even saying hello. Can’t even get through to the 1800 number so I am left to guess where my package is. When I track it, it says it’s been sitting at their location without moving for 12 days.
Phone calls to the Yonkers Ave. facility is absolutely useless. Nobody ever answers the phone, EVER! After all of the Mail was distributed into the mailboxes at 333 Bronx River Road,Yonkers, 10704 the postal carrier left and all the mailboxes remained completely open. Called Yonkers facility 3 times!! NOBODY ANSWERED THE PHONE. Incompetent is an understatement!
The Yonkers Post office is a joke! Words can't describe how incompetent, impolite, and disinclination with assisting their customers.
They are beyond ridiculous and lack customer service skills. The USPS management team needs to evaluate their employee's job performance.
Also, bother listing a Post office phone number 914-375-3098 - when no one ever answers or when they do, they just hang up.
This post office has some of the most incompetent, rude and lazy staff I have ever encountered. Unfortunately, this is my local P.O., so I have no choice but to deal with them. It's mind-blowing how many times this place can botch a simple job. I've had way too many instances in which I've had to contact the office itself via phone due to a missing package. It is difficult for me to arrange to go to the office because I am disabled. However, don't waste your time trying to call their office number. They will actually pick up the phone and hang it up on you, because apparently, doing the job that they get paid too well for is too difficult.
