i am writing to thank you <3<3<3 !! our post office - 11377, woodside - has been infamous for having lousy service... but our experience today was the complete opposite. Our package had accidentally been addressed incorrectly - off by one number :( It was shaping up to be a real headache... we decided to ask our local p.o, 11377, for help, without much optimism. They received us with a smile, and we watched as they all tossed ideas around... the supervisor, Mr. Saiful Islam (new..?), came & asked us to wait on the side while he figured it out. I was consoling my husband who was so very sad when, not five minutes later, Mr. Islam returned to let us know that the package was still on the truck, and they were going to come back to 64th street to deliver it to the right address! I was in tears.. not even bc of the package, but the whole experience... it’s well-known that the workers at the post office are overworked, underpayed, & screamed at 24-7 by unreasonable customers. The fact that they continue to try to help and to be a positive influence is nothing short of saintly. I really want to thank not only Mr. Saiful Islam & his trusty associates for completely alleviating our problem- but the usps driver who went out of his way to make this an incredibly special christmas. He even came up the stairs, bless him:) we were so happy and pleased to be treated so kindly... they truly made our holiday... it was our christmas miracle :) THANK YOUUUU !!!! peace 💕💕💕
It is 7:46 pm. I am supposed to receive a package today by 9:00 pm. I just trucked my package, and information tells me delivery attempted, but was not accessible. WHAT?! We got received mails, FedEx delivered packages. Only UPS could not reach us??? We were at home whole day for the delivery. We have the same problem from Woodside UPS many times. Too many times, what am I paying shipping for? I am very unsatisfied with their delivery work. Do something. I did not go anywhere whole day to wait for the package to come, and ended up not receiving it. Now I have to wait for Monday delivery. I want my package now as you promised “today by 9pm”.
Driver leaves packages outside my building on the street. Under sign that says all packages to be delivered to laundromat which is in the same building. No attempt to ring my bell was even made as I was home and found packages while going out.
Either they are lazy or illiterate or probably both.
Since when is leaving packages on the street acceptable? At least leave one of those delivery attempt post-its on the door.

They did same thing to mine on Nov. 13, 2021. Tracking shows out for delivery at 6:45 am, Left at Front Door/Porch at 7:07 am, very fishy pattern of delivery. Consequently, the package was lost. It hit me bad, I tried to file a claim by calling the number on this page, but no one picked up the call for past several days. Lesson learned. I may think twice to use them in the future.

Absolutely the worst Post office I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I've lived in NY,NJ,PA,FL and Woodside NY is the most inefficiently run facility I have ever been stuck with. Having a package delivered? - Maybe you'll receive it, but there's a good chance you'll have to waste your personal time trying to hunt down where they delivered it to. Letter, Passport, Package, no delivery is too small or large for them to loose. The best is having your issue casually brushed off, because why should they care, they 're state run facility, they don't eat the cost or time. Efficiency takes a back seat to a casual workplace environment, and unaccountability.
If this was a Privately run business, it would have failed long ago.
SImilar results to below -- numerous times, I've had packages sent through this office not get delivered and no note be left; the only way I was able to retrieve the tracking number was because they were sent via amazon. And again similarly to below, I have tried to call this post office using it's public voice number and had it be ignored and ring forever despite the office being open (I have not yet tried going into the office and listening to the phone ring as I call, but that seems likely).

Intentionally losing mail, laughing off customer complaints, not answering the phone, etc is misconduct and demands external review, particularly if the postmaster for this office is unrepsonsive to complaints as reported bel
Hi, last 10/6/2020 11am, I send my business letter envelope under First class mail, coming from Brooklyn , New York with zip code 11220 going to Johnny air cargo (the recipient) but until today 10/16/2020 which is already on 7th working business day excluding sat. & sun., the recipient HAD NOT RECEIVED the letter yet. It contain very very important documents. Johnny Air Cargo is only 4 mins away by car from the WOODSIDE Queens post office. A lot lot of complains had already going on with this Woodside post office way back 2 yrs plus since then, something has to be resolved ASAP.
WHILE, here in Brooklyn, on the 4th day I already received my mail, date of letter 10/8/20, received it on 10/15/20. Same environmental scenario of upcoming ballots mail & COVID-19. Other post office branch can deliver mails on time while Woodside post office have a lot of LOST LOST LOST mail. Nobody answers in their telephone. OH MY GOD REALLY.

This place should be shut down and our mail should be redirected to a competent post office! Everyone here is lazy and a liar. They said they "attempted delivery but no secure location was available" and they "left a note." They in fact did not leave a note, nor did they attempt to deliver it because my apartment is secure and this package didn't require a signature so they could have left it on my front door like every package I've ever received! Then I logged onto the USP website to schedule redelivery and it said they cannot redeliver to this location -- so basically I'm supposed to pay subway fare to pick up a package I already paid f**king shipping for??? When someone finally answered the phone (718-803-8529) I spoke to a woman who said she found my package and would resubmit it for redelivery. She didn't though and now my package is heading back to the sender because I'm out of town and will be unable to go down to this pathetic excuse of a post office to pick it up. NEVER GETTING ANYTHING DELIVERED TO MY HOME AGAIN.
Criminals run this Woodside 11377, Branch. Again, Mail carriers are caught on videotape assuming identities, forging signatures and stealing US Mail from Woodside residents. Try complaining? Guess who it goes to? BRIDGET JORDAN, the one who openly allows her employees to commit these crimes without any fear of repercussion or discipline. When we complained, we got literally laughed at and then suddenly, more of our mail has "vanished" and no one will answer for it or even investigate. This is disgusting. How can USPS allow this to continue to happen? How is Bridget Jordan not in prison?
No mail delivered again today. Had no mail delivery yesterday 8/7/2017. Did have some mail on Friday 8/4/2017, but none on 8/2/2017 or 8/3/2017. What is going on?. When I do get mail it is usually delivered after 5pm and I am only 2 blocks away from the P.O.!. The Woodside, NY branch must have a total replacement of management and staff.

Mail carriers drop mail on the street and continue to walk and talk on their cell phones. Mail carrier is NEVER off her cell.
Lost mail, meds not delivered, wrong addresses on mail that does show up....PAY ATTENTION OR GET A DIFFERENT JOB. This mail service in Woodside 11377 is THE WORST. Needs to be investigated. I am writing to higher authorities. This is crazy.
the phone is never answered. the passport hours are changing depending on availability of the personnel. there is no way to make an appointment when nobody answers the phone. for me to get a passport done, i have to take hours off work to submit the application. so uncivilized.
Very poor service. The mail delivery people not deliver to the door or ring to the apartment. Neither do they get signatures and find a confirmation receipts of the delivery. They just drop off at their convenience location and run.Three of my packets are lost and I keep calling for a pick up but no one seems responsive. The automated machine answers everytime and says you cannot change the status within 24 hours. If you want to change it before the mail arrives at usps, it says your mail is still on the way.
This is the worst post office and the mail man/woman is doing a lousy job. I had three packages to be delivered and one package was delivered. I was able to speak with the supervisor of the post office and he claimed the mailman put package near the garbage pail in another house. He was going to ask the mail man to go to that house and get package. This happened two days ago and I have been calling the post office and nobody is picking up. People like him should not be given job in post office and he said he was a supervisor. I do not understand what kind of supervision he undertakes. If I were to do such a lousy job, I would have been kicked out of job. The government is wasting tax payers' money by hiring people like him and his mail man.
Jim M. Paid for Priority Mail Express next day delivery. Never delivered. Person was home all day. Web site claimed an attempt to deliver at 11:33 AM and a notice was left. This is not true, no notice was left. This Post Office is a disaster!!!
Whoever is attempting to run the Woodside post office is completely unqualified and should be fired and forced to return every cent he has supposedly earned while in the position. It is inefficiently run; the staff is rude and unhelpful. I can’t even remember the number of times that they have claimed to have attempted delivery of a parcel but had to leave a notice since no one was available. No such attempts were ever made, nor were any notices left. I’m housebound; all they needed to do was show up and ring the bell. Why aren’t they held accountable?
Whoever delivers the mail to the Woodside addresses with 11377 zip code will STEAL your mail! It has happened twice now and nothing seems to be being done about it! They scan the package and say it has been delivered in the mailbox yet this is a lie! The packages were both very tiny so no excuse to place it anywhere else but the mailbox. Both packages were from Urban Outfitters! Thieves.
This place sucks horse balls!!!! Worst post office EVER!!!! Didn't leave any notice that a delivery was attempted, had to go on the website I purchased from to get a tracking number, its been a whole week since I requested a redelivery and still nothing. They're closed by the time I get off from work so I'd have to take a day off to go pick up my package. I HATE THIS POST OFFICE!!!
Absolutely horrible. Don't even try calling them because they will not, under any circumstance, pick up that ringing phone. You need to go there & see their incompetence in person. Any wonder why the USPS is going belly up just needs to observe this joke of post office to see why. Close already.
The worst customer service ever!!! On Monday called main USPS number, in about 30 min. was lucky to get an answer & rescheduled my package to be redelivered on Tuesday. Did not happen. On line tracking info was not updated, so I called on Wednesday again - no one could explain me anything... I was told to call Woodside post office directly. Trying to reach them all morning - was on hold for 30min. with no answer, called back, but no one picks up anymore. Message to everyone: avoid USPS service, use UPS or Fedex instead!!!
Terrible post office, especially the workers. They were extremely impatient and unfriendly, screaming and arguing with the customers. In particular, one Asian lady handing out packages was so ill-mannered! Someone said excuse me because she was blocking the door but she rudely replied with a sassy "excuse me" and chastised the customer when she was the one at fault!
So have I this post office is ridiculous worst of the worst someone should really review the office and do something about it these people are worthless!!! I had to go in today because I could not get through after numerous phone calls I gave them the benefit and figured they were busy however when I arrived there was 2 people on line and I called them while I was there without them knowing THE PHONE RANG AND RANG and they all ignored it lmao what a joke these people should all be fired!!!! How can one get a re delivery when you don't answer the phone, either one of them ..718 899 9427 or 718 803 8529OR when I go to USPS.com and get robot replies but no delivery.???Been a customer of Woodside PO for 46 years and never had this problem. Come on get with it.
