I am so heartbroken that a young man who became bedridden sick within his first couple of weeks as a carrier was FORCED to resign, in this day and age of Covid you want your staff to come to work sick? Wow, I get the whole snow rain etc…. but sick? It’s not like he didn’t call out, he did!!! But wow, no wonder the USPS is desperate for staff!!! It just breaks my heart that the government is that heartless.


I’m a home bound senior,I returned my absentee ballot request in early September,I called the Board of Elections in October asking where my ballot was;they said they never received it. I was very angry that I was not able to vote on Nov.2,2021. What’s going on?

On Saturday, May 2 @ 3:42 pm. I called the postal service a woman by the name of Lisa answered. I told her I was checking on a package she asked for tracking # 9505 5161 4967 0122 4495 43 She immediately told me it was enroute and within the hour it would be delivered. I explained that it was going to a senior citizen facility where my mom resides alone and that My mom is very elderly and sick and has a broken foot so hopefully they will just leave in front of her door. She confirmed that would be done if parcel is too large to fit into mailbox. I thanked her. After more than 2 hours my mom called me and told that package was not yet delivered but she had heard a thump by her door and so she managed to go down a flight of stairs to check because she was in desperate need of this package. Which is a brace for her leg. I was scared for her life because she is disabled but she managed to put her life at risk to try and retrieve this package. She mentioned it took her over an hour just to get up and down the stairs immediately I phoned the postal service @6:41 and was surprised to have Lisa answer. I told her I called her over 3 hours earlier and she immediately interrupted and asked for tracking # and she said oh sorry but this package will not be out for delivery until Monday I was in disbelief and immediately said why did you tell me that it would be delivered today when I called you 3 hours ago and she said I never told you that. I was in complete disbelief and I was so angry because my mom could have been injured or much worst could have been fatal. I explained all of it to her and she continued to blatantly lie and say your word against mine. I just didn’t understand why the first time around I gave her the tracking # she pretended to check and gave me false information. I wanted to cry and scream. And I just contained myself because I knew the parcel still had to be delivered and it is a very important package. I just wanted to let someone know that a stupid mistake and a lie could have been fatal. All she had to do was take the extra step, enter the tracking # and give me the correct information instead of making one up. I hope Lisa can be called and reprimanded in some way because people like her should not be allowed to work in a facility like the postal service where you are supposed to be truthful and care for your customers needs.
