Recently on a trip to New York we visited Staatsburg, NY. We briefly stopped to have a chat with an older lady sitting in front of her home next to the railroad tracks. It was a very nice experience, as we love to make new friends, and she told us over and over how very much she appreciated our stopping. In that conversation she informed us of a birthday coming in the next couple of months. We wanted to follow-up with a card with pictures included. Not knowing how to get a letter to he, I called the Staatsburg PO. A young man knew the lady and told us that "general delivery" to the post office with her first mane would be sufficient. We feel that it is extremely important that upper management should be aware of this very nice act your employee provided; To ensure a new and hopefully lasting friendship we made with someone we had never met. Another "plan" fulfilled. Thank you USPS. Norman Beard
