Today at the Spencer Post Office, I mailed three letters. I did not have the zip code for one going to the Groton Post Office-- a township in NY of about 6,000 people. The person to whom I was mailing the letter had a last name the same as the road because his family farm took up a great deal of the land on the road--maybe all of it. He has lived on that road for 69 years. I did not have the house number, The post mistress would not give me the zip code of Groton because I did not have the "complete address." Imagine that! The post office cannot tell you zip codes!!! What kind of customer service is that!! Go email!!! Go Fed Ex!!! etc., etc.

you could of easily looked it up yourself, check your letter's before you send them out, and I think the postmaster could and would give you a zip code, you probably wanted the address and NO post office can give that out.
