I have always put a note on my mailbox to PLEASE close the lid on it it's the top one of two other mailboxes which they also mix neighbors mail in mine too. As for the rain or snow weather gets right in the top lid and it destroyed my Christmas cards that I received from my family they were all ruined including a important piece of mail just because they can't just shut a lid how hard is that to do. As for the Post office itself the lobby workers are wonderful.

I would just like to know why my mail carrier continues to shove packages in my mailbox that do not even fit?? I could barely get the package out yesterday. Are you going to replace my mailbox when he breaks it?!

Great Post Office! Being a lifelong resident of Saugerties I have always found the staff friendly and helpful. Have had a POB for longer than I can remember and never any issues.

Once again, a USPS priority mail box that should have been left on a neighbor's front door was shoved into our mailbox. I say "shoved" b/c it was was too big for our box and it took a few minutes to pull it out. The mailman/woman was too lazy to deliver it. I gave it back to the USPS guy who came this morning and told him to please deliver it, as I am not responsible for our neighbor's packages and don't have their phone number or even know them.

I'm wondering why our outgoing mail was not picked up from our box today. I fear it may be due to illness affecting the mail carrier, but I hope it was something less serious. 1 Treis Terrace, Saugerties
