Yesterday I was waiting for an Echo Show to arrive. I happened to see right when the mail lady arrived, she put envelopes in the mailbox, and realized we had a box, so she got out of her truck and, I expected her to bring it to our front porch, like they always do... instead she walked maybe ten steps and put it down on our front lawn. Out in the open. Not far from the road. The box wasn’t covered and it was obvious what was inside. She got back into her truck and continued down the road, and I immediately ran outside to get it (but not before taking pictures showing exactly where she left it)... if I hadn’t been home and saw it all happen, anyone could’ve stopped at our driveway and stolen it, all because she couldn’t be bothered to deliver it to our front porch? Oh, and when I brought it inside, I realized the box had been tampered with/opened, as well. Not happy at all.

The post master at Riverhead Post Office is allowing his employees to harass and assaults' citizens that are doing nothing wrong. Then he helps hide the employees and wont give out any information when asked in order to file a complaint. He forgets that he works for the public, gets paid with our money, and runs that place like its a private business. He accused a customer of being a terrorist because he had a mask on. Even though he wears a mask because everyone wears a mask due to a pandemic. He needs to be punished and also the employee who assaulted a member of the public needs fired and jailed.

Wrong mail in my box mail missing my packages delivered to wrong boxes. Canceled my po box think twice about getting one.

To begin with I got a bundle of mail stating that it was given to the wrong address which included IRS papers unemployment papers and return to school papers. After I complained about that I got a notice that my Walmart delivery was given to me Saturday 10:15 I had no package I got two different stories from the people after I had to keep calling them back cuz they refuse to call us back I really think they have to hire more competent people from the top to the bottom

Now there is reduced hours at this facility. They close at 2pm !! They are an essential service. When asked, they close early because of the virus. Lame excuse.

It is already 430 pm and still no mail delivery, the service is terrible.
