The day I was supposed to receive a package worth hundreds of dollars I discovered it was sent to New Jersey for no apparent reason other than the incompetence of their entire staff. Tracking number indicates it’s out for delivery for me, yet it’s in a different state. Keep in mind it arrived in my neighborhood the day I expected it, they just proceeded to fudge up and bring it to Jersey. I’m getting no response and just lost hundreds of dollars of tools and equipment that I need to do my job. I put my full name and email, so feel free to provide a response. 0/10 stars, would not recommend. They’re probably the type of people who pull their pants and underwear down to their ankles when they use a urinal.

A NIGHTMARE - I HAVE HAD MAIL STOLEN/TAMPERED WITH, NOW A PACKAGE VALUED AT CLOSE TO $80 SUPPOSEDLY DELIVERED VIA TRACKING BUT NOT IN MY MAILBOX, NO ONE ELSE AROUND TO "STEAL" IT, POURING RAIN EVENING WHEN NO ONE WOULD BE OUT STEALING PACKAGES FROM MAILBOXES. PUT IN INITIAL REQUEST FOR INVESTIGATION TWO WEEKS AGO - NOTHING, NOW AN ADDITIONAL PACKAGE STOLEN - A NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!

Back to not receiving my mail, now I'm missing birthday cards and money

I mailed an envelop certified from Florida on 12/15/2020 and it is still in your post office since 12/28/2020. This was to be delivered on 12/19/2020, it still shows in transit. This is unacceptable. This was a wedding gift.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST. This is the third time I’m having something sent to me certified that has not been scanned in this post office. I was told the previous 2 times that it was probably damaged and returned to the sender only to have it found and delivered three weeks later. Now I’m having the same issue AGAIN and i’m being told the same thing for the third time. However, this does not stop the mailman from delivering everyone else in the neighborhood‘s mail to me.

I guess "through rain, sleet, and snow..." is no longer true considering that a truck in a driveway is an insurmountable obstacle. lazy workers can't walk a few steps I guess.

We spend our summers at our beach house, my husband goes back and forth to NY, so he had our mail held until he went back. Well, he decided not to go back as soon as he thought , so we had our mail forwarded. We have all of our current mail, but somehow the mail being held was misplaced- either by the Newburgh NY, Or by Wildwood NJ. No one has it And our sons scholarships are in thar mail? Please help!!

I leave mail in my hallway, to be mailed with a note on it please mail,they don't take it.

Good morning,I know times are changing, but I do need to call this to your attention. We have had all our mail(4apts) thrown onto the floor for us to put in the correct boxes. Sometimes all the mail is put in my box to separate. Rubber bands all over the sidewalks, especially in the last few months, And this late afternoon a neighbor was chasing the maillady with a handful of misdelivered mail. It was from another day.

My mail is being opened prior to me getting it. Positive of it.

Went to get passport aps teller was the rudest. As if she was superior to anyone. Coming from kansas she's a begging non workin unappreciative person and someone should reconsider her position thank you for showing me how "you" New Yorkers have no respect for the working class get a real job your like 70

terrible service my mail been left at the house next door I talk to some one in the office a time a bout this problem and it still happy for 3 day I did get no mail because it was left next door

Terrible service, packages are never delivered to the persons door they just leave it in the mail room, Or if by mirical they do deliver it's shoved in the mail box and you can't get it out. You can't get a hold of anyone when you call the phone rings off the hook. Non of these employees seem to care about the fact that they have a job they are being paid for. There is no pride in their work and no work ethic. I can't even begin to fathom why this branch hasn't been shut down it's just horrible.

Horrible. My packages and mail are constantly being delivered to a different address, packages that are delivered are being bend and shoved into the mailbox to where we cant get them out, mail that is supposed to be delivered shows up days later. Ive called twice and spoke to someone about it and it has not gotten better. Now Im trying to find a package that was delivered, but not to me, and no one answers the phones. Horrible horrible horrible.

I wish I had your job...there is no way to contact you...this is ridiculous....I want a supervisor to contact me.....

Terrible delivery service. I have purchased a house on River Rd in the town of Newburgh. Every week there is a foul up. I’ve called, my wife has called, my neighbors called and there is no improvement. All we get are excuses. I receive all types of important and time sensitive mail for my neighbors. We expect packages that show up days after they say they’ve been delivered. I sent a letter from my house to a friend on frozen ridge rd and it took 13 days for it to get there. I have my house number on my mailbox in very large font and I still get my neighbors mail. This is not rocket science. I understand mistakes happen but the same mistakes should not happen every week. One evening on my way home from work I found my postman with his truck hanging off the shoulder of River Rd stuck leaning against a tree. If the tree had not been there the truck would have tumbled down the hillside. The postman had no working cell phone or radio to call in his accident. I suppose it wasn’t an accident since it was his fault driving where he shouldn’t be so he would not have to get out of his seat. My wife and I have to go to the Marlboro post office if we have anything important to mail because we can’t trust Newburgh to do there job correctly. It is atrocious and needs to be investigated.

After reading the complaints on this page,we are having pretty much the same problems,I live in the city of newburgh,we have been having nothing but problems for the last 2 or 3 months.Our bills are sent out the day after we get them,they are not being received ,what the hell is this jerk doing with our mail,or if they do get them,it's a month later.We get lots of other peoples mail,which means other people are getting ours Everyone doesn't bother trying to find the person to whom this mail belongs.We are sick of this,our credit will be affected,do you think the credit card people are going to believe this story,they don't care...IT'S LATE PERIOD...are these guys just stupid or on drugs or what???Do something,I know a lot of us have complained and nothing has changed.

As of the first of last month mailman has changed for my street use to get mail between 2:30 and 3:00 now the new mailman showa up at 5:30 or 6:00 pm..and to add to this i have ordered packages from ebay and just in a few days it say package is out for delivery just asked him and he said he dont have it but then he also said the packages wer delivered also got my address wrong when i was talking to him..I WANT MY OLD MAIL MAN BACK.,.never had problems with the old mailman always had them delivered on time..

I moved to the Town of Newburgh six months ago. The mail service is atrocious. It takes me over a week to receive a letter that was mailed from Beacon? I know it has to go to Albany first, but 9 days? I know I'm not receiving all of the mail I should be. What are they doing with it?

I mailed an envelope to my sister, in New York. Now a week later, it has been held in the Newburgh New York Office. The last information about delivery is that the package can't delivered. I KNOW I had the correct addresses on the package. This is VERY suspicious. And the Post Office WON'T tell me any information as to why !!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been receiving everyone's elses mail but ours in the Brandywine Crossing (Fostertown Road) area of Newburgh. Most of the time our neighbors just hold our mail and we don't get it until a month later. We should not have to go around and deliver mail that should be delivered correctly. I've also tried to call the Newburgh Post office and have not been able to even leave a message. We should be able to call someone and let them know this is happening.
