I've lived at my current address for 8 years and never had a problem with anyone delivering either mail or packages or food ordered online until about a month ago. A plow hit one of the concrete slabs in front of my porch steps and it cracked in the middle. There are 4 square slabs in front of the steps. The current postal worker complained and stopped delivering my mail. I rent so I contacted my landlord and he had a worker come and remove the cracked slab. The post office said they still couldn't deliver my mail because it wasn't safe still. When the cracked slab was removed the ground underneath was level with the other slabs. The postman wanted to move my mailbox to the side of the porch but I didn't want it there because during rain or snow all my mail would get wet. I am not young and have back issues and have to walk with a cane. I can't stand up for more than 5 minutes without being in a lot of pain. I have other medical and mental issues as well but the post office here in Newark New York doesn't care if I can get my mail at all. The only family I have that lives nearby is my 25 year old granddaughter and she offered to pick my mail up at the post office but was told she couldn't do that unless I came into the post office with a letter stating she could pick up my mail. Am I supposed to wait in a line to do that? Because I can't without sitting on the floor. Please tell me what to do to get my mail. Thank you

I have a note on my door window to please put packages at the back door inside and packages were left on front porch in the snow. They contain parts that can get ruined with water.

This is in regards to the mailing of my stimulus check that says it was sent out on January 6, 2021, we still have not received it. It seems that once the mail hits Rochester, NY, it stops there. However, I am still receiving my bills on time!? What’s up with that?!

I just received a check that was dated August 13 which the person sending the check said she mailed it immediately. However, the postmark from Rochester, NY 144 is dated September 17. This was a first class letter that contained a check. How can I trust the postoffice to deliver a mailed in vote or an absentee ballot?
