I do tidal wetland permits, The Army Corps of Engineers want local post offices to post project plans for mooring float piers and bulkhead installations, Do you allow posting at the Nassau county post offices? If so How do I do this? The respondents local address name will be posted with the proposed project. This requirement is in addition to a web site posting and local area mailing of the project If allow how do you email this information My phone number is 516-581-5026

DO NOT USE USPS. This branch specifically is grossly incompetent and inept. They literally left a 400 dollar package that had a signature requirement at the receiver's doorstep without getting the signature. When I called them everyday for 2 months, they constantly denied responsibility and kept giving me the run around. Who in the right mind leaves a package without getting the signature confirmation? It literally defeats the purpose and the supposed "guarantee" of delivery that the signature requirement is supposed to give. I spoke with a so called Postmaster Brian, his supposed replacement Postmaster Joe, and about half a dozen people in this office, and nobody was in any way helpful or competent. I can't believe how irresponsible a federal agency can be.

I've heard of the decline of the USPS throughout the country but this location takes the cake. Where do I start? For several months the area I reside in does not received our mail at least once a month. I receive the wrong mail delivered to my home frequently. A visit to the main office on Merrick road is like visiting a middle school cafeteria at lunch time. I suggest going back to the practice of hiring QUALIFIED personnel.

Have not been receiving any supermarket circulars and did not receive Clipper Magazine that was delivered to my neighbors. Please attempt to get these to my address ASAP.

I love my Post office, and if they were not there so much would be missed. I have heard rumors that they are closing Post Offices around the country. Is this true?
