Today 3/26/19 I am beyond frustrated! I have complained to the folks at the local Massena NY Post Office about my mail being put in other mail boxes, when the boxes are clearly labeled with each apartment number, and the "store" has no apartment number. But yet, to find my mail I have to go on a scavenger hunt each and every damn time! The past few weeks I've been expecting important mail (all mail is important) but this mail I've been expecting is for my livelihood! Today I was expecting mail with a large amount of a gas card included with the package, I also had a piece of mail to post, I put the piece I had to post in MY mail box, and the carrier picked that up no problem, so wouldn't you think that if mail is picked up FROM MY mail box, MY mail would be put in MY mail box???? NOOOOOOO! Not with this ding bat of a carrier on today! I found it in one of the other mail boxes! I was tempted to not go on the daily scavenger hunt to find MY mail, and leave it that my package I was expecting didn't arrive today. I am so glad I decided to go on a scavenger hunt! My package I was expecting WAS in ANOTHER mail Box!!!!!!!! How stupid can anyone get to take mail to post OUT of ONE mail box, and put mail for the person who is posting said mail IN another, ANOTHER, mail box!!????? Don't the carriers have to know how to read and comprehend written words and numbers? My mail I posted out had my entire return address on it, same as the mail I received, had my ENTIRE address on it, including my apartment number!!!! This also makes me wonder if other mail I've "never received" is floating around someplace in someone else's mail box on the other side of town? What's to happen when tenants occupy the other apartments in this building? Are we going to have to sort threw our mail and play post office ourselves to get our mail? In that case, I want the wages to sort the mail! since the employees at the Post Office and the carriers can't seem to do it! I am going to try one last ditch effort to make it as easy as I can for the mail carriers, and put my name on the inside of the door to my mail box, maybe then the carriers can get it, if they can't read numbers, maybe they can read words? Should I spell phonetically? I promise I won't write my name in cursive hand writing, I know they probably won't be able to read that!
