I operate out of a local business. The mail person comes at a different time each day, so it's hard to know when to have the mail ready. I don't always have mailed coming to my office, but we have a lot going out. So I have the problem with them picking up my mail regularly. It's not so bad now that they have had a post box installed nearby. If I don't have any mail come, I put it in the box. But that means it doesn't go out until the next day. Today, we had the 'substitute' guy. He has requested us to leave the mail on the counter but I have explained to him that we can't just leave the mail sitting on the counter due to HIPPA protocol. I was just on the other side of the room and he dropped the mail on the counter and practically ran out of the office. Then I actually heard the tires squeal as he tried to get far enough away. Well, he stopped just a little ways down and when I called to him, he WAITED for me to come to him. What a passive-aggressive, petty thing to do! He couldn't even meet me half way. That would have been quicker for both of us. He was nice enough in speaking but I'm not stupid, and I don't appreciate the little 'tricks' that are happening because he has to come into the office for 2 seconds to drop/pick up the mail. I could anticipate them coming and be ready to give it to them if they came at a regular time. I didn't think that customer service with the post office had sunk so low.
