I have been waiting for a package and have been checking the tracking number of the package thru the process. Today when I checked, the USPS noted that a notice was left in our mailbox because there was no secure place to leave the package. There was NO notice in my mailbox and my husband were both home all week when the mail was delivered. There was NOTHING in our mailbox today and I heard the mail truck slow down, not stop at our box, but speed away down the road. This is not a unique experience. Often we have not received important mail and are offered no explanation. There are many vacant or "part time" residences on this route. If mail is left in the wrong box, we just don't get it at all. I would really like the mail carrier to pay more attention to the accuracy of their deliveries. I have sent a complaint via the USPS page. Hope that is not mis-delivered as well. If I am not contacted about this problem, I will not be surprised.
