The USPS is not a government agencies it is funded by we the people because of it's mismanagement - we keep bailing them out and not holding them accoutable. The Peavine Station once again raised their PO rental rates. Rentals in 2018 were $56 in 2019 were $61, 2019 were $67, in 2020 were $81 and now for 2022 they are $101. Each one of these rates were/are for a 6 month period. There is absolutely no justification for this $20 increase for 6 months. I would like to know why ????????????????

I agree. Same with shipping costs. I am full time eBay and the cost has doubled from 17 years ago. A long period yes, but sellers basically keep the USPS going. I’m shipping over a hundred orders today. My margins are getting too thin to continue. The USPS should give me a discount just like they do Amazon. Only Amazon gets Sunday delivery. Unfair competitive advantage. The USPS better stop using small folks like us as cash cows without regard. We will quit if you keep gouging us and then what? Gonna raise the price of a stamp? Good luck.

I got a letter telling me not to put old mail for the previous resident in outgoing mail as the management instructed me to do. At the end of the letter the carrier wrote (in her handwriting) that if I didn't write refused on the mail before I put it back in the mail, she would hold ld my mail at the P O. I DON'T LIKE THREATS! This is the first I was told of this procedure. At the bottom of the letter is the wrong phone number that was signed by the supervisor. I tried calling 6 times to speak to that Supervisor. No answer. What has happened to our customer service?

I ordered a piece of equipment that was shipped March 9th. Supposedly delivery was attempted on the 11th but I am here every day because I'm disabled. Nobody knocks on my door nobody left a note and the post office claims I asked for the package to be held. That statement is not correct. Yesterday I began tracking this package to find out it was sitting at the Peavine post office. Is that the best service that your entity is capable of?? I tried calling yesterday I was told to wait time was over an hour. So I tried tracking on the web. I submitted a lengthy application putting in my address twice all my information twice and received an email last night from a gentleman telling me he was starting an investigation. The only investigation necessary was for him to walk in the back room and find the package and put it for delivery. This morning I finally found the direct number to Peavine. I called in the phone was ringing over 10 minutes before it was finally answered. The agent comes back and tells me that the package was attempted delivery and nobody was there and he left a message in the mailbox none of which is true. The other thing is who cares about that when I want the package?? I had even told her that already so I had to ask her again do you have the package? She answers yes and asks are you asking for a redelivery? I asked is that what I need to get the package here? She replies yes. I say today? She says yes the carriers right here. I say goodbye. Is this the kind of service that you consider the best you are capable of? Package sits for almost two weeks with no contact attempted no re delivery attempted? Are you serious??

We have had an ongoing problem with delivery of our heavier packages from amazon. Our mail carrier (female/mid 50’s/light hair) always issues a notice that it was undeliverable and she missed us. There is no reason whatsoever that she could not have left it at the front door. There was no snow or any other blockage at all!! It is not a package that needs a signature either! We spoke to a clerk at the post office and she knew who we were talking about, and claims that she does not want to carry the boxes that are heavy. This is obviously true as these are the only packages we are having trouble with. We get deliveries from UPS and FEDEX with no problems at all. If this mail carrier cannot handle the heavier packages then you need to assign someone who CAN!! My husband is disabled and in a wheelchair and that is why we order supplies to be delivered directly to the house. It is a TOTAL inconvenience to have to go to the post office and pick it up. Please address this issue ASAP!! We live on Robb Drive.

Just called the Peavine Post Office and spoke with Josh. He could not have been more polite, accommodating, pleasant, or helpful. My mind is now at ease regarding a pkg I may have misaddressed to the 89523 zip code. Part of my concern was the speed with which the USPS delivers packages these days and my wanting them to intercept the pkg before it was so delivered to the wrong address. So it's all good--outstanding employee and speedy delivery. No complaints here.

Long Lines, Often Misdirected Mail & packages, If you have a lot of junk mail & delivered boxes too big for Postal Box it is automatically sent back to Post Office for requested pick up even after a 2 day mail pick up by customers.

When I called the lady was very rude. She was able to answer my question but almost sounded sarcastic when she answered it. Its your job be polite to people otherwise go work somewhere we you do not have to work with the public.
