We are "part-timers" in Red River. We have a street address at our townhome there, and we have a USPS post office... When we are going to be there, we order items and have them delivered there instead of here in Texas. While there in June 14 till July 5, we were expecting a delivery, checked the box every couple days--received other things, but not this package...Checked for the last time as we left on July 5-- still no pkg. I checked the tracking record once we got home and found THAT THE USPS IN RED RIVER NOTED THE RED RIVER USPS showed the following (Notice of arrival June 26, reminder July 1, RETURNED July 5) ---- WE WERE THERE AND WERE LOOKING FOR IT!!!! The postal worker(s) NEVER PUT A NOTE IN OUR BOX IT had arrived, nor a reminder, nor that it was returned to sender See the following tracking information: Unclaimed/Being Returned to Sender RED RIVER, NM 87558 July 11, 2023, 11:50 am Available for Pickup RED RIVER, NM 87558 July 5, 2023, 9:06 am Reminder to Schedule Redelivery of your item July 1, 2023 [5 DAYS AFTER RECT--NO NOTICE IN OUR BOX] Available for Pickup RED RIVER, NM 87558 June 26, 2023, 11:55 am Arrived at Post Office RED RIVER, NM 87558

My husband and I have been traveling between a home in Texas and a property in Red River, N.M. I can't begin to express my gratitude for all the help we've recieved from a gentleman named Kevin at the local Red River Post Office. Kevin helped set up our new PO Box. Then, when it was time to go back to Texas, he helped guide me through the process of forwarding our mail to Texas. We now will be returning to Red River for several months, so again Kevin was there to help with the whole process. I very much appreciate Kevin going that extra mile to help when I needed it.

I am a 78 year old disabled person who has had PO box # 867 in Red River NM 87558 for 50 years and has always received the most helpful and courteous service there until the present postmaster came on. His attitude is very rude and it makes you wish you didn't have to go to the PO at all. If I need something I go to the next town to handle needs or use ups. It would be so nice if something could change the Attitude of this man because I hate to dread going to the PO. He has told me more than once that he doesn't care if I complain . any feedback would be nice. Thank You
