I keep scheduling re-deliveries for my packages and the post office keeps ignoring them. I am very fed up since this is their job. Do your job post master and re-deliver the packages like you are supposed to.

Ring ring ring. No answer. Judging from all the bad reviews not hopeful of their package handling.

Mail service in Edgewood at less than satisfactory. I hear that a lot. Sometimes it is about the recepients mail being opened or missing/nondelivered mail. Yesterday I received a message from a creditor saying the mail they are sending to me (several pieces) are returned to them stating my address is a vacant residence. I told them that there are major problems in Edgewood and they said they know. They have a lot of problems with that post office and mail service. I thought it was just me. I know my carrier is an independent contractor although he told me he is a federal agent and has the right to open my mail. I believe that is a felony because he is not a Federal Agent or even a Federal employee, nor does he have a search warrant. Something needs to be investigated at this post office. It is very poorly run. And may be committing felonies.

What good does it do to schedule a pickup when the package is not picked up on the day scheduled? Confirmation WEC412338442 to have a package picked up today. Box has been on porch since last night.

You need to increase security in your lobby. My friend was in last week to mail a package and was verbally attacked while in line by 2 men. They called her names, used loud angry profanity, and racial slurs. She is a small, sweet, beautiful Hispanic mom of 5, wasn’t doing anything but standing quietly in line to mail her package. The workers did NOTHING to help her. She was very frightened by this. This is wrong. I will not be coming back without a large male protector.

She should carry a pistol. I am certainly not saying you should pull a gun on everyone who calls you a name but if you maintain your separation and practice, practice, practice it is a great confidence builder and it would limit her having to worry so much. If worse comes to worst and she is attacked, if she maintained her space, separation from her antagonists, she should have time to produce the pistol and fire if necessary. It beats the living daylights out of being a victim and frankly why should anyone have to be a victim? There are certain people who are actively trying to discourage people from defending themselves and their rights. Not only is that bogus but it is a good way to become a victim or get killed. That's not for me. I have my weapon and I have used it before and I would again if forced to. That is my right and rights are like muscles, if they are not exercised they atrophy and become useless. Tell your friend to make the investment in training, it's fun too, and make sure that her five kids have her for a grandma when the time comes that they have their kids. That's her right too, White, Black, Hispanic you name it. We are all Americans and that is one of, if not the most important of,our rights. Don't be shy and don't be buffaloed, step up and stand tall.

My daughter took her passport renewal to the Broadway branch where the employee checked it over, put it and the check in the priority envelope, labeled the envelope and charged her just for the postage. I tried to do the same thing at the Edgewood PO and was told they would charge me $35 "handling fee". Are you kidding me?

I am trying to call the post office in Edgewood, it continually rings busy. Seems like the phone has been taken off the hook. The toll free number has way toooooo many dialogs about what you can do, without an upfront number to call for assistance at a specific post office.
