Postal Locations

We recently moved to Carrizozo, NM as part-time retirees. We experienced great service and efficient help from the postal workers and Donna Brady, in particular, when we opened our PO Box account. We always receive a friendly smile and appreciate their willingness to help.

The post office here in Carrizozo lost a package that was worth a pretty good amount. The status showed that it had been placed in a parcel box but I was told that it was probably put in the wrong box. I was basically told tough sh*t. There is no recourse that makes it worth going through all the hassle. Today I talked to a friend that had the same thing happen to them, staff just laughed and asked if the package was insured. What do we do about this? This is frustrating!!! There’s no solution, we have to bend over and take it. My advise to anyone is to insure their packages and stay on the staff. They’re nice enough people but suck at putting packages where they’re supposed to go.

The Carrizozo Post Office under Postmaster Donna Bradley is both efficient and an asset to the community. The staff is friendly and helpful. The lobby area is always clean and orderly. I've used post offices for mail receipt for many years and, by far, this is the most professionally managed location. Keep up the great work!!
