A letter that had the correct name and address on it was not delivered to me. It was marked "not deliverable as addressed - return to sender". As I said the letter had the correct name and address on it. The person who sent it had to hand deliver it to me. I wonder how many of my other letters I have not received due to this incompetence!

This post office is terrible. They are lazy and do not want to do their job. How at 6:15am is my package out for delivery and then at 2:58pm its ready for pick up at the post office. I have been calling 201-375-4400 and its been busy since they opened at 8:30 this morning. Clearly they take the phone off the hook to be their lazy selves and do nothing. Get rid of those people in there. Do everyone the favor!!!!!

My package said delivered, then was held at post office and then picked by somebody else from the post office, Im trying to call the phone number and it says the phone number is out of service! Whats going on at this post office?????

Can somebody please explain to me why every time I am expecting or receiving a package from USPS that it claims that it was delivered either picked up by the person put it in the post office box or some kind of crazy nonsense, and then we need to wait two or three more days for it to actually be delivered? What the hell is going on?

worst post office ever used, received notice from this post office that my package of medications was delivered to my mailbox but i never received package. Spoke with a supervisor next day he stated package was delivered to a wrong address and i would have it by night never received it. still waiting for package 2nd day lost no response from anyone from post office. It seems they do not care for the people they service horrible business to deal with

Good Morning. I have a complaint. This post office is supposed to open at 8:30am lobby hours. It’s now 8:39 am and I am still standing awaiting the daily operational doors to open. Not an employee in site. Also no signage stating any kind of delays. This office is terrible. The staff is unprofessional and irresponsible. No respect at all. The usps tracking office is sending customers fake emails with miss representation on them. Nobody cares about people. The mail is not deliver properly. Our mail was lost but we getting a lot of mail that doesn't belong to us. There is impossible to complain because it's a government structure. Today I received email to pick up the parcel from South Hackensack post office and lady there didn't even check if the parcel arrived and sent to the road to look for the driver.

USPS South Hackensack, NJ has withheld my mail with a school check. I received an email stating it was delivered, but it never was. I've gone in person... The service from the HACKENSACK Post office has greatly been lacking over the years. My regular mail carrier is great! this is no reflection on him. I placed a cancel of my temp forward mail over a month ago, and the temporary location where mail was sent is STILL receiving my mail. I call the post office only to have the phone ring ring ring. Those who work at the post office need to remember you are a GOVERNMENT institution and as such you are an employee of the taxpayer so get your crap together. Mediocrity should not be our new high bar because of the mediocrity in our high office. I demand a call regarding my concern.

Es el peor servicio, los de atención al cliente de este correo no saben ni donde estan sentados, son mentirosos, y en la oficina de south hackensack la atencion es horrible y se molestan cuando alguien no habla ingles, no saben donde estan los paquetes y tampoco le ayudan al cliente a buscar una solución. Este servicio realmente es una mierda.

This postal service is the worst. We got our mail at 7:30 PM! Now a package is missing. I hope they go under and only UPS takes over. They are the laziest, worst ever!
