I requested that my mail be forwarded from NJ to Fl starting on January 14, 2023. My has been coming to my address in Florida for weeks. My RING door bell alarmed me that someone was at my front door in Oradell, NJ. It was the Mailman delivering mail to my address in NJ.
Hold mail is STILL not working. I have to have my neighbors check to see when it fails and delivery is made despite the stop. this is an ongoing problem and my visit last year to the temporary post office boss resulted in him saying that it was too much for them to handle after consolidating Oradell and River Edge with Paramus and temp help has proven to be not up to be 100% reliable. Calling the office is hopeless as the last person told me maybe I didn't send the request and that she had too many phone calls to spend more time with me !!! Asked to speak to the post office supervisor and she hung up. Yelp reviews suggest that this and other similar problems of service from rude or possibly under trained employees is the norm.
Is this the standard we will have to endure or will someone motivated in higher management also find this unacceptable and take hold and do something?
I went to the paramus post office to pick up mails.
A lady was working in the counter. She was slow to respond my request but very talkative with her colleagues. She was badly unkind, impolite. I gave her my driver licence to pick up mails. After she saw it she threw it under the counter window . I had waited more than 20 minutes until she came back with my mails. The mails were big amount. Normally those were bundled with band or in the box. I don't know this eoman, I can't understand why this woman was so nadty,hostile attitude to me. Please do something to this kind of employee. She doesn't deserve government salary.
When opening time says 7:30am Your doors and employees should be ready to work. Today I had the worst customer service ever!!!!! A line formed and at 7:30 no one was at the counters and the door was still locked. 15mins later after the employee went to the counter put away her lunch and looked over then the door was opened. Now the less than pleasant remark from this employee about just opening and not have change of a $20.00 bill I did not need or deserve......Sorry but I am the customer and if I did everything on line mailing you would not have a job anymore....Maybe you should remind the staff of that point.
My daughter Andrea moved to Ramsey NJ in may 2017, on May 13, 2017 she filed a change of address form for herself only. However Andrea and Josephine bills, legal documents and other mail have bee forwarded to Andrea. On numerous occasions we have spoken to the carriers, post masters in River Edge, Paramus and Ramsey NJ. NOTHING HAS CHANGED! PLEASE HELP US! We have been receiving collection calls. Absolutely Horrible customer service. The representative, Emma, on the phone was rude and unresponsive. I asked her why she spoke rudely, she stated it was her culture. Not sure where she is exactly from, but i am a mix of black, white and latino. There is no part of my culture where being rude is acceptable. It seems her lack of education and manners is more the cause. I am extremely offended by her demeanor and will definitely purse that she be removed from talking to more customers.
