I received a certified letter with a return receipt yesterday. The letter was accepted and signed for by one of the secretaries in my building. The return receipt was still on the letter when the secretary gave the letter to me. I am a retired postal employee and am concerned that the carrier delivering the certified letter did not require the return receipt to be signed by the person accepting the letter. The sender paid a substantial fee for this service that was not provided. No wonder the public is losing confidence in the postal service. The postal service needs to make sure the carriers know what is required when delivering accountable mail.


I have a video of the delivery person hitting my recycling can and turning it sideways! They do this frequently! I’m 71 yrs old and put my garbage/recycling cans out around 4 to 5 pm. The can are hit by your truck and turned sideways. I have to go out and position them correctly. There is plenty of room to go around the can and position it for the next mailbox. YOU ARE RUINING MY GARBAGE/RECYCLING CANS!! And causing me a lot of extra work and aggravation. If you don’t correct this I’m going to present at town hall meeting and post on Facebook!
