I had a positive experience with the Hawthorne Post Office. I spoke with a gentleman, I believe his name was Apollo. He said his title was manager. I brought to his attention that I had a problem with a package from Amazon. He was cordial, listened to my problem and provided me the steps I had to follow to rectify the situation. 135 Goffle Hill Road Hawthorne, NJ 07506

Terrible customer service. Tried calling local number no one answers. I drive to Franklin Lakes location where they are professional and cordial

I'm waiting for my 3rd stimulus check and my address has changed to 156 Diamond Bridge Ave., Apt #3 in Hawthorne. I believe you do have my new address there for my mail. I'm wondering if it was mailed to me.

The new mailman for May Street and Hawthorne is the worst I've ever seen. He cannot seem to put the right mail in the right box, which are clearly labeled. I have someone else's mail today and I cannot call the local post office cause they don't answer. No wonder USPS is failing miserably

I love getting my mail at 5 pm when the day is over and most businesses are closed for the day (at least East Coast businesses). What ever happened to getting mail by lunchtime? Definitely a thing of the past. The Post Office bleeds money every year. This is the worst run, most mismanaged establishment I have ever seen. Time to privatize the mail and start all over....

I paid a certified and registered mail that never reach the place I sent the documents for and it was in Hawthorne. Finally after 4 weeks it came by to me, took my money for no service rendered. How awful, no accountability and no compensation for the headache it cost me.

Pissed off as well....I have a carrier who is filling in for my regular carrier. After requesting the 2nd floor apt mail be put in the box labeled as Apt 2, I still get the upstairs mail in my box when the regular person does not deliver. How hard is it to read apt 1 or apt 2 on the envelops and sort appropriately. He then threatened to hold my mail because there is no name on the boxes. Pissed off I agree this is a job. If I pulled that at my job I would be fired.

Worst post office in America. Rude counter clerks, insufficient counter staff. Incompetent office staff and sorting staff
