I am a secret shopper and was testing out USPS customer service, and let me tell you this was a very very bad experience. I call the Grand Island Location and they answered and they gave me an attitude. This is unacceptable behavior in a professional setting. Also they took long to answer looks like they ignore phone calls. Supervisors need to do a better job or fire them all!
Have tried to call postal service on Old Potash location several times, keep getting message "we're sorry, your call did not go through, please check the number". Also, have question on address of returned mail, as to why it was returned with sticker on it "Panda Express moved left no address" but business has not moved, it is still physically there at this address and manager advised that mailbox is there for them to receive mail.
Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced in a post office. From the mail carrier to several supervisors. The postal service wonders why they have such a bad reputation well that is why. I have nothing good to say about that facility.
Our mailman Frequently does not deliver our mail and marks it blocked if there is a car near the mailbox but not blocking the mailbox. If he can’t reach the mailbox from his seat he throws his hand in the air and drives off. I will get a video of this he does this a lot and the mailbox is not blocked he is just lazy.
Our mail box is across the sidewalk - it is a step out. I understand mailboxes that are out of the window can be blocked.
Saturday, June 22, 2019 our neighbors across the street had a garage sale. There was a car parked on the eastside of our mailbox. The mail carrier turned our corner, paused and went on without delivering the mail. Our next door neighbor's mail box (situated same as ours) was completely blocked by cars from garage sale customers. Their mail was delivered. The carrier could have very easily pulled up to the west side of our mailbox - behind the parked car to leave our mail.
Our mailbox is not out of the window, please educate your substitutes.
Later in the day on Saturday, we received an email stating our mail could not be delivered because we were out of the window.
Today, I had to go to the inconvenience of scheduling the delivery of a package (small enough to fit in the mailbox). I was told I could have it delivered between June 25 and July 2. Then guess what? It was delivered today. The automated service seemed to know everything about the package EXCEPT that it was out for today's delivery. I selected an option to talk to a representative and was told the wait time to speak to anyone would be 30 to 52 minutes. RIDICULOUS!!! Many complaints possibly?
Our regular carrier does an excellent job. AGAIN, please educate your substitutes. A timely response would be appreciated.
Today marks the 3rd time in just a few weeks that my mail has been placed into my neighbor's mailbox, and his in mine. Our mail has been clearly labeled, and marked with the appropriate apartment numbers. We are at a loss as to why this is occurring. Our usual carrier is Bill, and we have no problems when he is on duty. This seems a very simple task, to place the appropriate mail in the appropriate box (boxes which are clearly marked) Please attend to this issue at your earliest convenience. Thank you.
Would it be possible to place a Post Office outlet somewhere off S Locust , something similar that's in strip mall off Webb? Currently all 3 offices are located in NW Grand Island very near to each other. Thank you for your time
Apparently there is no people that works at the post office I am really getting upset with my letters getting sent to somebody else
But I cannot call and complain because there's no people there they just keep telling you a number to pick from that has nothing to do with what I'm calling about but they will not send you over to anyone very upset

I work at a doctor's office on Alpha st. Our regular mail carrier has been out for a while, While she has been out we have had the best replace that I have ever seen. His name is Alex. He is great, friendly and always has a smile on his face. I'm hoping that sometime down the road that we can get him as our carrier.
Well because I can't seem to get a hold of the postmaster for the third day in a row I will go ahead and post on here. My carrier twice has not picked up boxes that were supposed to be taken with them on a priority today mail parcels. Even after I had called in and asked the PSE clerk to let them know they forgot them. Upon talking to him I was even more disheartened because of the clerks rudness in the matter. Not only this but I have repeatively asked the mail carriers to only deliver mail with the last name baker or lech, we constantly get other names and when I leave them in there to take back they never do. I never had these problems until we moved to grand island. Incredibly dissapointed in the level of service this USPS delivers to customers.
