I had an issue with package mix-up, and Gail not only went out of her way to find the package, she drove out to my subdivision and went through the parcel lockers to find my package. I've never had this happen. She went so far above and beyond - I was really appreciative.

I have been trying to reach the Postmaster of the Wake Forest Post Office for over a week. I waited in the PO for 20 minutes while one of the clerks, who was very pleasant, went to the back several times to inform the Postmaster I was waiting to speak with him. Each time I was told Mr. Robinson would be out shortly. Finally, I asked whether Mr. Robison was in the building, and I was told "I think he's in a meeting." I then asked to be given a call back and left my name and phone #. A couple days later I noticed a caller ID on my home phone as the WFPO, but no message was left. I have tried calling that number, 919-435-0428, numerous times, only to receive a busy signal. I have also called the number listed on the WFPO website, 919-556-8859, numerous times, only to get a busy signal also. How does one remedy a delivery failure when no one with authority is available???

Stopped in to mail a package ( visiting our new granddaughter in Wake Forest for 4 days!), and was totally impressed by the staff! Polite, courteous, and even SO helpful to a young couple who needed “about 200 stamps- were sending out wedding invitations!” The man behind the counter proceeded to ask if it was an actual invite or a save-the- date, how many pieces of paper/card stock- and then proceeded to explain to this adorable young couple, they needed to consider these things BEFORE buying that many stamps, in case they actually Needed MORE postage! Very precious moment as the local USPS🥰

Today, we had someone show up to deliver the mail in their pickup truck. The mail was in the bed of the truck and he is back there rooting around in it to grab a stack to put in the mailboxes. Now I know that you use contract people sometimes, but this is ridiculous. We had a regular mail person for a few months and he was great. Now, every day, it seems like somebody new is showing up delivering our mail. What is going on. Is the turnover at the post office really that bad?

I also receive my mail at a Horsetrail Way mail kiosk. Several insurance EOBs, town of WF utility bills, and other mail due to me from mid December were either not delivered or were received by me on 2/7/22.

I am very disappointed with the service I have received from the Wake Forest postal service. In December 2021 I sent a Christmas card to my cousin at the following address. Traditions Ridge Drive Wake Forest In January the card was returned to me with Not delivered as addressed. I checked with my cousin and she confirmed that this is her address. You managed to return the card to London UK but couldn’t find Traditions Ridge Drive???

Im looking for Saturday Jan 22’s mail. Per my informed delivery preview, I had a tax document included in that days mail. I assumed due to inclement weather at the time. we recd NO MAIL that day. I checked the next delivery date (MON - Jan 24) and the missing batch of Saturday’s mail was not included? Tried to call USPS in WF to ask about mail delivery that specific day…NO answer.

The mail kiosk and delivery of mail for Horsetrail Way, Wake Forest is horrible!!! The mail carrier shows up at times at 6pm or riding thru on weekends to include Sunday but you may not get the mail as she just drives by. Most often you get others mail and stuff showing to be delivered for the day is not in the box so must be going to someone else. There is mail that is laid out all on top of the kiosk that people place there for wrong delivery because the slot for outgoing mail is full for weeks of mail placed in it that was delivered to the wrong address. Seriously, it used to be an accountable position but seems like very incompetent and untrustworthy. This needs to be addressed!!

In the Lakestone sub, 1213 touchstone way, wake forest. Mail is always in wrong boxes. This has been going on for over a year. Please talk to the carrier as maybe they are dyslexic and cannot get the numbers right.

I have an issue with theft of mail. It appears that somehow 3 separate cards with gift cards mailed on separate days to separate places were never delivered . My guess is someone in the local post office is responsible for these missing cards. They were picked up in my mail box by local mail carrier and never were delivered to the addresses. It would be one thing if it was one card coming up missing but 3 all send separately within a week is not an accident . Please reply to this email so I don’t have to complain to others in the postal service .

I stumbled upon this site looking for the address of the Wake Forest Post Office because I have to send legal papers to them because they seems to not be aware or to not care at all that they operate under a contract called The Constitution for the United States of America, and are bound by TRUST to the People thereof. The average American is expected to be clueless because of government-run "education," but those who are PAID to provide postal services have no excuse to not fully understanding the differences in DOMESTIC and NON-DOMESTIC mail, nor how to fully operate each separate and distinct system as needed. None of those that I have been in contact there have the slightest clue. It is truly sad, really. I have had to deal with complete ignorance there for over a year now, and after recently dealing with their supervisor staff all the way up to the "Post Master" herself, I believe that the ignorance and incompetence comes directly from the top. Now reading all of the post below, I see that this is a problem that many others have dealt with as well. Incompetence from failed leadership!

Could you please tell me the name of the Postmaster? I have an official complaint online with USPS about our carrier, which was then sent to supervisor Wesley. I have never received any feedback from him about this, despite multiple trips down to the post office and speaking with multiple other “supervisors” who have also never followed up on our situation. I need to send her a certified letter about the complaint, and if still no response, a certified letter to U.S. Postmaster General. This taxpayer supported government service is the worst I have ever dealt with in my experience. Thanks!

wake forest post office. you just made me mad as Blank no show for my mail today what the blank. if did not show for work i would get fired what gives. and why is the mail alway a guessing game as when i get my mail and sometimes driver does not show up for days this really pisses me off. i cant count on my mail for crap because of this. and it a huge problem since this how i send my payments bills. i dont like using internet or pay by phone because i dont trust this method at all. please fix my mail pick up.

When our regular carrier is working I have absolutely no complaints, but when she is not scheduled our mail ends up in a neighbor’s mailbox and some days we do not receive any mail at all. Since May, we have been skipped more then ten days as the carrier is not delivering any mail to Old Neusiok Trail. None of us receive mail and I find it incredulous to think that everyone would not have any mail on the same exact day each of those ten days. Not holidays, we just do not receive mail as the carrier does not come down this street. I would appreciate some information as who to contact to file a complaint since today, yet again, a carrier has not been down Old Neusiok Trail. Thank you.

Often I don't receive mail or it's misdirected to someone across town. Now they've had a Christmas package for 5 days and still haven't delivered it. Lines are always out the door and they won't answer the phone. Like all governemental entities, there are never any consequences. They ALL should be fired and replaced; they are incompetent.

Delivery is very poor since our postal deliverer went on maternity leave. Mail is delivered at earliest 6:30 and sometimes as late as 8 PM. We and our neighbors are receiving mail not for our address. We received no mail one time and the next delivery our box was stuffed full. This is a totally unacceptable business model!!

I have been trying to contact this post office for over two weeks now. I live out of state and sell things on Ebay for the store I manage. A customer of mine never received his package and it was delivered to the wrong address. Now I have had to refund his money because so much time has passed and I still am unable to get a hold of anyone to explain what is going on. Even the post master where I live is unable to contact them in any way! Terrible business practice.

For almost an entire year my neighbors and I have been receiving each others mail, having to hand deliver it to each other almost daily. I live in the Heritage Crest. The mail carrier doesn't pay attention to the names or addresses. He see's the numbers and just puts it in wherever. My understanding is that people have gone down to the post office to complain, I even went down myself and brought a bag of the misplaced mail myself. Nothing has been done. Also here is a big one. I have had packages deivered via mail. Instead of placing items in larger box with the key, he/she shoves it in bends & crinkled with the regular mail. How does he know what he is skrunching and crinkling. He doesn't- (EXACTLY!!!)

I've lived in Wake Forest for 7 months now and really don't like the inconsistent mail delivery. I can never even ball park the time of the mail as it comes at different times frequently. Most of the time late day or even as late as 6:00 or 6:30 I've seen. Where are the rules and enforcement from the W F post office to the carriers. It seems they can do what they want when they want. And after reading so many reviews how this is an ongoing major problem makes no sense.

The Smith Creek Subdivision on Steeple Run Dr didn't receive their mail today. I had mail in my mailbox since 11:00 am 3/29/17 and I brought it back in at 8PM. There seems to be a lot of complaints directed at the Wake Forest post office.

I'm not sure there is anyone awake at the WF Postal Service office, which seems to be by far the worst I've ever had to deal with. Cannot ever get anyone on the phone, or speak to someone in charge. I've received mail just two days since January 1st. Still waiting on packages to be delivered, and as much as I regret saying it - bills to arrive. Mail randomly returned to sender as "no such number", yet UPS and FedEx have no problem finding this place. Mail frequently delivers at 9 or 10 at night, by a carrier who seems to be pulling packages out at random (drives up and down street multiple times). I guess they don't sort this stuff anymore either?

We did not get any mail this week until Thursday. And yet the Wake Weekly was not delivered. A government agency designed to provide a entitled right has failed to follow its own code (wind,rain,snow,sleet) Such a sad situation.....

Again, the Wake Forest USPS has let us down, for days and days. We should not have to chase mail at the center. Why can USPS package service deliver packages, with chains on the truck , but we can't get regular mail. I agree with previous reviews, something has changed there, and it has not been for the good of our community.

Problems with Wake Forest post office. Deliveries are occuring as late as 8:30pm, receiving neighbors mail and they receiving ours, packages from Amazon getting lost or delayed. This was not an issue until several months ago, what is going on? You cannot reach anyone to speak with.

They are the absolute worst! Wake Forest and Youngsvillle. In all of my years of living so many places around the world, the mail carriers in these areas are the worst. I’m starting to think the people can’t actually read and all you have to know is your ABC’s to get the job! I know my review is harsh but it’s the truth!!!

What is going on with the Wake Forest post office? Trucks are rushing around all hours of the night/weekends and we continue to get our neighbors mail, and them getting ours. This trend started about 6 months ago, and its getting worse. What is the problem?

I know that I am not receiving all of my mail - I have not received a credit card that was mailed to me; several checks; billing statements, etc. I do seem to continue getting a couple of pieces of junk mail but not the important stuff?? I called to Post Office to ask for their assistance and was told to call back in the morning and talk with my carrier! No offer to check on my mail for me or to see if it's laying around there somewhere. The Wake Forest Post Office is definitely suffering in the area of customer service. My shortage of mail has been going on for weeks now.

Since April I have had ongoing issues with delivery of mail on time.I have received mail as long as 23 days after postmark. Been at this post office for 20 years and something has definatly changed since April .i have 5 business entities on this one box and sometime I go three days with out any mail . This is impossible I would bet everything I have its in the back room in a pile with employees fighting over whose job it is to put it in the boxes. Is there no over site ,or possibly a change in management ,something is definatly different .i have also talked to other people with boxes in the post office and they say they are experiencing the same issues. PLEASE HELP US !!!!

he manager belongs in NJ...no peoples skills!! moving here in December but sent a priority package to my new address..I had to go to the PO..added $33.41 in postage...my mistake...I used wrong box ...the manager, Mr personality said that my grandchildren needed to pay the extra...I am retired and could not afford the extra, so they did not get their granola bars. Mr manager...go to Edison NJ where you would fit in perfect..Mr Grump...I hope you enjoy the goodie package....

I checked with five other people who live on Rogers Road, Rolesville and none of us had mail service on Saturday, August 6, 2016. It is now 3:41 p.m. and we have had no mail service today. Actually, this is unacceptable as this is a business address and also a private residence. Please check into this. Thank you.

Was expecting a package which requires a signature. Due to deliver today - waited at home for postwoman. She delivered items into our mailbox, but never came to the front door. Only 2 letters in box - checked online - package out for delivery. Went to WF Post Office - they said it was with the carrier. Told them she did not deliver it with my mail. Found carrier and she refused to look for the package! I have no idea where my package is! Have tried calling the WFPO but it rings busy constantly! Have never in my life experienced such unacceptable "service."!

Keep getting other people's mail. Mail from neighbors, from other subdivisions, does not matter. Some days no mail. Cannot get USA Today newspaper. Some times no newspaper, sometimes last weeks newspapers. Contact with route supervisor, no improvement. Neighbors complain, no improvement. Have lived in 5 different states, 7 different cities and have never in countered anything like this post office.

Why is it we don't get mail on a regular basis. There are days the carrier doesn't deliver to our area. It's not snowing, etc. I heard the office can call a carrier and tell them to come in? Shouldn't the mail all be delivered and then go in? Once again our street received no mail and its 610pm

Nothing worse than get dealing with Letter Carriers that fill in for the Letter Carrier that has the route. My mail seems to end up at other houses. I just pray I get my W2's. After all once my neighbors opened one of my bills for electric, water or gas they were praying it wasn't theirs. This just s has to stop.

I had a package delivered at 2:34pm per an email from the PO. I was home all day, checked outside and it was NOT delivered. Mail that was suppose to be delivered today after a week long hold, never got delivered either. The Wake Forest PO doesn't have a "working" phone number either, you have to call the 800 line....VERY FRUSTRATING.

This is the third year in a row that a package that we sent to my in-laws sat in the post office from December 22nd/23rd until December 26th. We pay for Priority Mail when we send it from upstate NY, the estimated date of delivery has been 12/23 or 12/24 for the past three Christmases and yet never arrive to their house until the 26th. It's HIGHLY frustrating. My brother-in-law has sent things to his kids here in upstate NY that they have never received. It's time for the USPS to look into the Wake Forest Post Office management and delivery team.

Where are all of the Smartpost orders? I ordered something from 2 different vendors who used Smartpost. One was on 11/24/15 and the other on 12/1/15. Both have been at this post office for weeks. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? My neighbors are advising of the same problem.

Charles Reck I mat not live in the Wake Forest Area, but i do know a mail carrier there that was hurt deeply by these acusations. This mail carrier takes pride in her work, and makes an extra effert to ensure the customer gets thier pakages and letters. I know for a fact there has been times she has stayed out later then required. Has gone out and helped other carriers get there mail out on there routes. The individuale her that lodged the complaint should have at least mentioned the routes that there was a problem in. This blanket that has been cast over the Wake County Poastal Service give all the mail carriers a black eye. The problems that exist inside the Facility should be addressed. But let's not over look the ones that go above and beyond to help others and to ensure thier customer's are satisfied......I'm standing proud beside you, you all know who you are that have done the job, and done it well from all of us, your friends, family and customers.....We say THANK YOU.

I am a customer of the wake forest post office and over the last several months this office has become a complete mess. These are the rudest people I have ever come in contact with. Also the mail doesn't get delivered as its suppose to. A few weeks back I had a package shipped to me priority mail and got it ten days later and then the package was a fishing rod and it was broken in half including the tube it was in. Today I had three large envelopes out for delivery according to tracking numbers and I never got those. This office is a disgrace to the federal government that it represents. Someone needs to make some changes or at least adjust the attitudes of the people who work there. So sad to see people who have a good job like this and act like they don't want to help you or even want to be there. I hope this is not in vain. Do something!!!!
