Several times I have online order tracking information state attempted delivery when in fact there was no attempted delivery. I currently have a package that was supposed to arrive December 14 and I’m getting the message once again that says attempted delivery. No slip in mailbox either. I’ve contacted the vendor only to be told no refund due to its between me and the postal service. So I’m out not only my money but my package. I’ve been to the post office and you stated I don’t have a package there. So where is my package?

This post office is horrible and the main ASK-USPS number is just as bad. The Investigator should seriously audit this branch.

They say they delivered my package and put it in the postal locker, but there was no postal locker key put in our box. And no package. What is going on at the Murphy Post Office?

Suspect Murphy USPS put a package in the lock box at abt 1pm on 4/7/23 as stated, but put the lock box key in the wrong mail box. A same day visit at 4pm to the USPS office was non productive. There was no lock box key in my mail box at 9:30am on 04/08/23 either. Attempted to contact the Murphy office (837-6214) repeatedly hoping to get them to contact the mail carrier to correct their error but they refused to answer their phone.

What a joke this PO (Murphy NC) is but then again, it's the so called government (they get paid for not conducting business). They have lost very important mail with no help in retrieving it. Totally worthless.

I am so tired of having to go to post office to pick up packages. We have a paved driveway and there is usually no cars in drive at mail Deverly time. and we do not have any outside dogs either, but all packages are either at post office or the one day it was left on top of mailbox in pouring down rain, it rained so hard that the box was completely falling apart, but also last week had 3 other people's package in my mailbox and a message telling me mine was in the post office. i work full time so i have to leave work to go to town from Peachtree to pick up mail or my daughter who has two small children has to take her baby and toddler in post office to get our packages. then we had a note stating my mailbox was too low it has been in same place for 40 years and same Hight of the neighbors, this is crazy

What has happened to our good postal service? This week has been a disaster, and we need to know why. We were going to talk with you about it in person at the post office at the beginning of this week, but you were busy; however the postal worker talked with you, took our phone number, and reported that you would call us to discuss our recent problems. BUT YOU NEVER CALLED! (Yes, we have an answering service, in case we are outside when the phone rings. There was no message from you.) A couple of months or so ago, our mail delivery person left a note, suggesting that we get a bigger mail box. It was a good suggestion, and we did—and so did the 2 other households on our driveway. At about the same time, we widened and smoothed our entire driveway, to make it easier for deliveries to be made. The driveway is upgraded about every month, yesterday being the most recent. All 3 households are involved in this upkeep. We USED TO GET GOOD SERVICE, but it has been anything but this past week. Today we got our 3rd unsigned, incompletely filled out notice that we needed to go pick up a package. The form said “sorry we missed you” but we were home this entire day, and one of us was in the house at all times. That’s because she is physically handicapped, plus depends on USPS deliveries for medicine and other crucial supplies.

I have had packages delivered to my home in Murphy NC off NC 294 for the last three years with no problems until last week and this week. I have had notices left twice that stated "notice left with no secure location available". I called the Murphy PO and a lady explained to me the carrier would no longer deliver packages to our subdivision if the carrier had to back their vehicle up. What a crock! They park the carrier vehicles in their rear yard facing the fence. I guess every morning they have roll call and all go out and push the vehicles away from the fence to turn them around. Funny thing is the carrier has to back up to be able to deliver to the six mail boxes in our subdivision. Guess we will have to move the boxes out to the edge of NC 294 so regular mail can be delivered. Pretty risky out there though since our entrance is in a curve and we all know no one drives the speed limit on NC 294.

The Murphy postmaster is a sour note to anyones day he is highly ineffective will hang up on you and leave the phone off the hook if it is 45 minutes away from closing so he does not have to trouble himself with you -he gives the least possible information and is cranky & RUDE beyond BELIEF -This guy is impossible

Havent been able to get packages delivered in over a year. Its sad. UPS AND FEDEX both deliver to our home but USPS flat out lies. They claim they attempted delivery and yet nothing. We are home and the weather is beautiful. Customer service is severely lacking in the office. The phone rings busy non stop.

This post office does not require customers to wear masks in the very tiny, unventilated counter area. The man behind the counter pulls his gaiter (not even a mask) below his nose. When I asked him to pull it over his nose, he did so, then proceeded to slam his way through my order, clearly angry. I had to wait in the unsafe small room while he finished my order. Why do we have to endanger ourselves to use an essential government service?

The service from this post office is beyond poor. The postmaster is a very rude man who yells at people over the phone and in person in the post office and is pleased to hear you say you’re not going to use usps. I’m unable to receive my mail and the post office is an hour away from my home. NOBODY IN THE OFFICE CARES

Very poor service due to Post Master. He refuses to talk with us, they changed policy to not deliver packages if driveway forces them to back out. Next they often won't deliver packages when the driveway isn't blocked. Third they have an on going file on us of us having the driveway blocked...only several times and are about at the point where they will never deliver packages even though the web site allows for redelivery. Typical government agency. IF there was a way I would NEVER have anything shipped via the post office again....EVER
