No stars but had to put one because it wouldn’t let me post this …. they don’t deserve them either. Havelock y’all need to do a sweep on your employees and find some that have customer service and not always giving the customers side eyes . Worst post office . Not willing to help anyone and every single time I come into this post office they always have a nasty attitude . And they sure know how to ruin someone’s day with their attitude. Yall have new people in there as well and they even have attitudes. This is not acceptable.

I left a couple bad reviews over the years due to the HORRIBLE treatment I, and others, have received by the employees at this post office. It was the worst I’ve experienced and there were many bad reviews due to this. However, the past year has been significant in these same employees! Whatever training and/or reprimand they received is very obvious. They’re so courteous and friendly when I come in. I can never understand why people are so rude to others! I understand some people come in with attitudes but you don’t have to be like them! Thank you for finally being decent again.

I've had several packages not delivered due to animal interference which is bs because there were Fed ex and ups sitting on porch at same time. I've tried calling and no answer anytime this is totally uncalled for. They were payed to deliver these packages

AFTER 5 YEARS THAT I DID NOT WANT TO CALL THIS USPS OFFICE, I HAD TO CALL TODAY ABOUT WHY I DID NOT HAVE MAIL DELIVERED NOR THE MAY I HAD GOING UP (THE FLAG AT MY BOX WAS UP) THE DRIVER JUST WHIZZED BY AND DID NOT STOP AT MY MAILBOX. CALLED THE OFFICE AND A PERSON ANSWERED AFTER I TOLD HIM WHAT MY CALL WAS FOR, HE CAME BACK AND SAID: "ALL THE MAIL WAS DELIVERED AND PICKUP ACCORDING TO THE LADY THAT DOES YOUR ROUTE. SOMEONE IS LYING, CLASSIC OF THE USPS OFFICE IN HAVELOCK.

unbelievable and i spent 14k thru the USPS this year. UPS and FED Ex is getting my business from now on.

My postal worker will Not deliver packages to my home that are too big for the mailbox. I understand I am not on a state maintained road, but it doesn't stop her from going to other homes. She should Not have the ability to pick and choose where she delivers to. Fair and consistent, all or none. I live 25 miles from the post office and work. What an inconvenience.

I followed all regulations and laws with shipping firearms and the post master broke open my box and continuously tried to give it back to me and not give me my money back because he wouldn’t ship it. He gave me the number of the guy who said I couldn’t ship it and I called him with the specifications of the weapon and said I would be fine. I took my package back and the same post master still would not accept my package. When walking out he kept screaming “YOU HAVE A BLESSED DAY MAAM” and continued to do so until I responded back with “you too sir”. He was completely rude and doesn’t deserve that job since he has no customer service qualities whatsoever and he is completely rude! I’ll never go back to that post office again. I rather drive out of my way to never see his disrespectful face again.

The people in Havelock post office have no idea what they are doing. I took in a prepaid package they would not accept it because the label read the 20th and it was the 21st before I could print it out because it was late and the post office was closed. I took it to another post office without any delay. I do not have time to run back and forth. Very inconvenient! Maybe the people who work the counter need more training because they definitely are confused. As far as I am concerned I will go to another post office where the customer service will be much better!

Terrible service at Newport Post Office. Kelly was very slow and rude. In addition, she walked by our long line many times and refused to help anyone for 25 minutes, while we waited for her. Fire Kelly!!!!!

Our mail carrier has not come in 2 days. I have mail that was suppose to be delivered on the August 13 and nothing! I have out going mail still sitting in my box. If He does come again today I’m going to the post office to see what is going on. #unhappycustomer

So lately if we don't have incoming mail or mail does not get picked up, mind you this is a business so there is always every day mail going out. I called the manager at the havelock office and he was as rude as a individual as he could be! He said the carriers had been picking up and they are not suppose to and was instructed that its not an obligation only a curisoty to us when they have mail to bring after going back and forth he told me to take it to one of the blue boxes around town like I can close my business but ok...or take it after work.... because id remember that after I pick my child up from daycare since I get off late and try to drive an hour home get dinner etc. by 9pm. The worst thing was his nasty rude attitude right from the start smh!!

Package was supposed to be delivered on Saturday. I was home all day and package showed out for delivery. No one ever came by and I look on line and it says that it was now being held at the post office per customer request. Now I can’t get anyone on the phone. So next call will be to the postal inspector. They suck.

Cannot get through to speak to anyone. Watched sub walk up with package yesterday and scan it but didn’t leave it. Status shows left at front door.. 😤

Supposedly attempted to deliver something to me (a gift) at 8:01 am (before the hours they are supposed to open) - I was HOME and outside on my front lawn and saw no one - I have been trying to call the local number ever since I found out from the person who sent it (3 hours ago) and the number has been BUSY - IS IT EVEN A WORKING NUMBER OR IS IT OFF THE HOOK!???

TODAY SATURYDAY 4/22/2017 I was in the front yard water the plants,,,, the lazy sub would not stop to collected on a postage due package instead left notice in box....piss poor sub,,,they would not last a day at any other job....they sure as hell not like it if was thier mail......

I had several packages delivered to my house today, and instead of walking the packages to my front stoop and stacking them on top of each other like they normally do, the person who delivered them just stacked them up in the planter box behind my mailbox!!! My planter box was not big enough for all those packages and a couple of them fell out. They have never done this before, I don't know why today was different!!!

Hello, I've been trying to call for 3 days now and all I get is a dial tone. Do you still have your phone working?

I live in Newport, NC. I received a package from USPS on Monday, August 10 at 2:46pm. The box was left in the middle of my front yard and looked like it had been run over by a vehicle. The box inside, which is a birthday gift, is also bent up pretty bad and looks like I've purchased it from a consignment shop. I'm glad that there was nothing breakable in the box. The only thing I can see that is acceptable from this is that they got the address right and on time. I will try to never use the USPS to deliver anything for me in the future. This was totally unacceptable and I will also be notifying TARGET as this is where I purchased the item for delivery.
