The mail carriers are horrible! I do not understand if the carriers are not being trained or if they just do not care who gets whose mail, but it is ridiculous. Myself and many other residents/ commercial businesses are constantly having mail delivered to the wrong address, including bills that need to be paid. Something needs to be done about the efficiency/ accuracy of the EMERALD ISLE mail carriers

Being a retired post master after 33 years of service and spending the last 10+ winters on Emerald Isle I have found the employees friendly, courteous despite having to deal with cuts in hours and increasing work loads due to the drop in first class mail because of the internet. My mail comes at the same time almost every day, carrier goes out of her way to deliver our mail. If I were their postmaster I would consider incentive awards that are available for excellent work ethics and million mile awards for rural carriers who qualify.

do you know who the current postmaster is? i am trying to transfer down there as a supervisor, My inlaws just got moved down there to be closer to my brother in law who is looking after them, but my wife needs us to move there so we can share the responsibility. let me know if you know please.
